One of the best hotels during our trip through Uzbekistan. Everything is new, spacious, and stylishly decorated with local accents. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and very quiet. Very nice hotel with airy and spacious room. It's clean, comfortable and beautiful overlooking a theme park. It's about 15 minutes drive to the old town. If you use Yandex Go, their version of Uber, the cost is often just $1 or less. I think it's the best choice to stay when you're in Khiva. Breakfast is pretty good with many options for the buffet. Fantastic hotel with great service. The hotel is huge and the bedroom spacious. Great breakfast with attentive staff. The hotel is very quiet. They have nice heated pool and sauna. Nobody was there and we had great time in the pool. It was open till late about 9pm.

Very good hotel, one of the best during our trip around whole Uzbekistan. Location is not central - this is a minus, but not big. Everything else is very good. Polite and helpful staff, clean and spacious rooms. Very quiet! Comfortable beds, very good breakfast. Good Turkish restaurant.

Pros - location is perfect for seeing all the sites in Khiva. Staff spoke good English and were extremely helpful. Rooftop terrace is perfect place to have a drink. Cons - Breakfast was poor. Plumbing is ineffective guests are asked not to put paper down toilet but in bin next to toilet as it easily gets blocked. Access to rooftop terrace is by winding stairs which would be difficult for infirm.
I liked this hotel mainly because of its location. There's simply not a better location in all of Khiva. I'm really between 3 and 4 stars here for a couple of reasons: 1) The breakfast is served in a location apart from the rooftop terrace, which I never even saw a way to access. The rooftop terrace has no bar or restaurant, and breakfast is the only thing served here - yet not even on the rooftop...
We had a pleasant 2 day stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, the bed was comfy and breakfast was a feast. It was very cold and snowing during our stay so we didn’t get to enjoy breakfast on the terrace. Nevertheless, I took some stunning photos on the terrace at sunrise. The water pressure in the shower was a bit weak but we didn’t mind it at all because of the warm hospitality we received

I wasn’t a guest but was welcomed as an esteemed traveller. I was able to enjoy the incredible Uzbek hospitality. The sophisticated dishes I tried here were by far the most exquisite I have tasted in Uzbekistan. The staff is fluent in English and very competent. I must come back!
This hotel is new and quite nice. The rooms are clean and the staff are attentive. When we arrived, we were invited to an evening performance by the manager, Islam. The evening was a lot of fun and very memorable. If we return to Urgench, we will plan to stay at Hotel Karavan again.

This place is great. What an incredibile experience. Sleeping in a Madrassa is something anyone should try!
Great hotel, just inside the city walls. You are in the heart of Khiva, right on the main thoroughfare. Amazing character - you are staying in a former madrassa, with the unfinished minaret by the entrance. Inside there is a huge courtyard where you can sit and enjoy the atmosphere. The rooms are small, and in the ground floor there are no windows. However as an experience I highly recommend staying...
Solid for accommodation and Poor wifi available only in the courtyard. The ambiance and the settings are out of this world! Very cool place and with solid service. Gets a bit busy with groups.
Wi-Fi only available in courtyard, not convince. Poor house keeping, blanket bag size in single and blanket was double. Room was clean, $10,000 Som for 1 coffee at breakfast, instant coffee was free.
