Really comfortable hotel in an excellent location. The rooms are clean and spacious and it’s very quiet at night. The staff are very friendly and accommodating! I’d recommend this hotel to Khiva visitors.

new furniture and lights that are not so fluorescent you feel like you can see through your skin in the mirror. I'd still stay here again for the convenience of it, but I think it could be managed a bit better

5 mins walk to the old city walls, the hotel is very new and a great place to relax after traveling and sight seeing, plus our rooms had a terrace with a good view of the old city walls

Located just near the gates and wall (perfect location),the hotel is clean and provides u great hospitality. The hotel manager is very helpful and will guide u throughout your stay

When we checked in the room was set up for 1 person – I set of towels, 1 bottle of water, 1 chair. We got it equipped for 2 and then had to go in search of our carry-on luggage, which hadn’t been delivered to our room

The room was fairly large, comfortable but rather stark, in 50s style. We liked that we could open the window and that it had screens. The bed was a bit hard and the towels a bit worse for wear

Water pressure was mediocre and the tubs/showers were extremely slippery. It’s a fairly large hotel and sits right outside the main gate to the Old Town, so is in a good location outside the noise of the town

The breakfast buffet was pretty good, but a bit crowded and things weren’t replenished in a timely manner. The dinner buffet wasn’t bad – lots of choices. Staff was friendly and helpful

A lovely boutique hotel practically across the street from the Old City. The room was large, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom modern. My room had an outdoor seating area

Hotel is situated just outside the South Gate of the old city. It is a large and charming place with a garden and a swimming pool although that wasn’t open when I was there

Fantastic value for money with excellent upper class facilities for the money you pay. Lovely swimming pool, room is made up every day without asking

Very very nice stay at a very low price. It’s a gem when it comes to foreign tourists. They have a jacuzzi bath tub and the price is comparatively cheap for a foreigner it’s just 26 USD

The 3-star accommodation facility we stayed in in Khive city of Uzbekistan Being within walking distance to the historical area is a plus, but the beds are thin and there is no hair dryer or refrigerator in the rooms

The breakfast room is in the basement and is indoors. There is an inner garden and an outdoor seating area for smokers

And because it's in the central part of the ancient city, it's easy to walk around for food and drinks. The only minor drawback is that the soundproofing in the rooms could be a bit better; everything else was great

Great location, clean rooms, and they provide shampoo, shower gel, and toothbrushes. The mattress is soft and comfortable. The view from the terrace is beautiful. The manager at the front desk is available 24/7

The rooms are spacious, there's Wi-Fi, and the hot water never runs out. It's located in the old town, and although there was one power outage during my two-day stay, it was quickly restored

Located inside the old city this hotel was very nice except for one issue in our room - the water pressure was so low it was almost impossible to have a proper shower. Breakfast was ok.

It's a very good location in khiva, friendly and polite people running the house. We just used the room to sleep and rest, so it was good. They arranged a car to take us to khive to bhukara for 80 doller

Former 19th century madrassa near to historic town centre. Nice atmospheric bedroom with usual facilities, if a little small. Air Con Overlooking central courtyard although little natural light

It’s a shame that both maintenance and cleanliness are below par and so much more could be made of the central courtyard and other public areas. It all seems a bit lack lustre

As others have commented this is an historic building in a great central location. Yes some rooms are very small and quite dark but perfectly okay for a night or two

We were very happy with our stay at the Orient Star Hotel. The setting is unique, with a lovely courtyard and great restaurant

Since it is a newly built hotel, it is really clean. Breakfast is served individually, making you feel pampered. Although it is not inside Ichan Kala, it is located only 5 minutes from the main West Gate

Given that we travelled during off peak season, we practically had the e tire hotel to ourselves. The staff made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was served daily - this is no buffet service

They help us with an early check in and a late check out. They organize, on our request, a cooking class for the uzbek bread that was fantastic! Super kind, the bed was medium hard (perfect for me), good breakfast

The rooms are very clean and the hotel owner/staff were very welcoming and flexible (let us check-in early with a small charge and let us leave our bags in the hotel until 14 on our last day)

They also booked a bread-making class which was very fun and authentic. The location is very close to all landmarks in the old town and everything is witching walking distance

I was looking for something calm after all day walking in the scorching day at Itchan Qala, and "Shokhjakhon" Hotel was just perfect , so Quiet location, ,very clean rooms , delicious breakfast , Kind personal , My best Dinner was here !! The Uzbek Lady owner`s Hotel wife cooks so, so, very Delicious

Located 40 meters from the North Gate and 120 meters to the Ota Darvoza (Main Gate), make so easy moving inside the walls and back to rest and take a breath , and just around the corner there are two Milliy Taomlar (nacional dishes ) coffees , at very accesible prices

They give “Nothing is too much trouble” a whole new meaning - from Ibrahim on the front desk, to Adilbek who runs the show, to his adorable 11yr-old son after whom the hotel is named, Shokhjakhon - everyone is just immensely kind and welcoming

The location is excellent - train station, amusement park, old town - everything is nearby. You can get to the old town by electric car, but it takes about 10 minutes to walk along a pedestrian street

Convenient location, great hotel

Polite helpful personel. But nearby Sofra restaurant makes the place very noisy especially afternoon beginning a party which lasts till midnight. That's very annoying.
