Really comfortable hotel in an excellent location. The rooms are clean and spacious and it’s very quiet at night. The staff are very friendly and accommodating! I’d recommend this hotel to Khiva visitors.

new furniture and lights that are not so fluorescent you feel like you can see through your skin in the mirror. I'd still stay here again for the convenience of it, but I think it could be managed a bit better

Clean rooms, hearty excellent breakfast, service at a good level. The great location makes this hotel one of the best for those tourists who decided to explore Khiva and are accustomed to comfort.

The hotel provides u almost every facilities from clean room to poll,gym etc. Thers amazing chandelier everywhere u look including cafareia with amazing breakfast Overall experience was awesome

5 mins walk to the old city walls, the hotel is very new and a great place to relax after traveling and sight seeing, plus our rooms had a terrace with a good view of the old city walls

Located just near the gates and wall (perfect location),the hotel is clean and provides u great hospitality. The hotel manager is very helpful and will guide u throughout your stay

This hotel is an old historical Madrassah I stayed at this lovely place whilst on a Wild Frontiers tour of Uzbekistan. It's location is inside the old city wall. Khiva itself was the highlight of my holiday

This is my second stay at the Orient Star in Khiva. I would choose this hotel over and over again mainly because of the location; it has the best location in Khiva

The facilities are basic but you will still have a very comfortable stay for 2 or 3 nights. The breakfast is pretty average but it’s not the worst out there

Staying in this hotel was a big contribution to that. The rooms are the students cells. The rooms are furnished with traditional style furniture. The bathroom had everything you needed

I did experience something unexpected from the staff members at this hotel though: We had a private tour scheduled to start from this hotel at 10:00am

Before we could get there, an extremely RUDE and tactless lady opened an office door and aggressively called our tour guide into her office- USING HER INDEX FINGER and raising her voice! I could understand enough that our guide told her to lower her voice and that she’s with tourists; that she can’t leave the tour

Very very nice stay at a very low price. It’s a gem when it comes to foreign tourists. They have a jacuzzi bath tub and the price is comparatively cheap for a foreigner it’s just 26 USD

The 3-star accommodation facility we stayed in in Khive city of Uzbekistan Being within walking distance to the historical area is a plus, but the beds are thin and there is no hair dryer or refrigerator in the rooms

The breakfast room is in the basement and is indoors. There is an inner garden and an outdoor seating area for smokers

Closely located to railway station. Ichan Kala is 10 min from the hotel. There are couple of restaurants, banks and a mini market in 2 min walking distance. Very polite and friendly staff, always willing to help

Fantastic value for money with excellent upper class facilities for the money you pay. Lovely swimming pool, room is made up every day without asking

The whole place just felt like it just needs a bit more care and attention and it could be a very nice hotel. They weren't that busy when we stayed so it was fairly quiet

The location is quite close to the old town although options for places to eat nearby is not that great

On February 23, we were given vouchers to Khiva from work, we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted very well, they gave everyone rooms, at the reception the guy met everyone very politely, explained the routine, the rooms are generally at the highest level, the bed is clean, the rooms are clean, the towels are all clean , very good service, dinner was ordered in the restaurant in the evening and another...

Convenient location, great hotel

Excellent simple hotel in a great location in the center of Itchan Kala, the walled old city oh Khiva. Comfortable rooms, super friendly staff, good breakfast. Free wifi, sometimes slow, but this is normal in the country

we tried to order lunch in the outside area but this was refused (strangely enough) even though others were served food. We guessed it was because they were accommodating a big group inside the hotel

Very comfy beds and duvets. The hotel is very well localised. We managed to walk everywhere by foot. The only issue we had was broken hair dryer. However everything else was good and clean.

The best part about this is that it is located immediately opposite the old city and therefore in an ideal position to begin the exploration of the wonderful sites of Khiva

Good prices and location, there many Topchan for a pleasant dinner. Almost no dishes go up to 20000 sun. Anyway a bit slow and as well as in other restaurant don't expect the dishes to arrive at the same time

The room was adequate, but the location just outside the West Gate was perfect. Breakfast and the hotel staff were both excellent .

French fries are good but the portion is small. 15% tips as service included, as well as all the uzbeck restaurant

It's right near the north gate. The rooms are spacious, recently renovated, and the plumbing is clean. The towels are soft and thick and there is a bathtub too. There is cute paint on the walls and it is soothing.

The curtains seemed very thin but sun rise wasn't until 7 so it didn't matter, I may have had a different opinion in June though! The breakfasts had a good variety and there was plenty of room in breakfast area

Good location a few minutes walk from the north gate. I obviously didn't explore much of the hotel as some of the guest photos look awesome!

We had a huge room with a desk and seating area as well as a large bathroom. The room was very quiet despite being on the ground floor

We had a very good experience at Allanazar Ota Hotel! The rooms are clean, warm (in winter time) and confortable. The breakfast is very good with a lot of choices fruits etc

It’s a new family run hotel, just opened, saw new delivery of mini fridges for rooms. It’s very clean & fresh, convenient location in old city. Papa speaks little English at the counter uses google translate

2 daughters speak English help out at counter after school. Surprisingly it was 70yo+ grandpa at the counter when I check in, he took a photo of my passport and he called for a young guy to do check in

One of the best hotels in Khiva

Very comfy bed. Their garden is beautiful. Have a lounge area where I can chill out with friends. Staff is very friendly. But the food are always the same menu. Hope they can change the menu everyday

This is a good value for money no thrills hotel offering a major plus: a swimming pool. A little bit soviet flavour remains, but this does not for staff which is very friendly and helpful
