If you use Yandex Go, their version of Uber, the cost is often just $1 or less. I think it's the best choice to stay when you're in Khiva. Breakfast is pretty good with many options for the buffet

Huge hotel, with lots atractions. Unfortynately long way from old town, you have to take a cab. Very nice staff. Good food at breakfast. Close to the market.

Pros - location is perfect for seeing all the sites in Khiva. Staff spoke good English and were extremely helpful. Rooftop terrace is perfect place to have a drink

All attractions are within walking distance. The rooftop terraces provide a good view. Room is small and furnitures are dated, but acceptable, breakfast buffet average with limited selection

5 mins walk to the old city walls, the hotel is very new and a great place to relax after traveling and sight seeing, plus our rooms had a terrace with a good view of the old city walls

Very very nice stay at a very low price. It’s a gem when it comes to foreign tourists. They have a jacuzzi bath tub and the price is comparatively cheap for a foreigner it’s just 26 USD

The 3-star accommodation facility we stayed in in Khive city of Uzbekistan Being within walking distance to the historical area is a plus, but the beds are thin and there is no hair dryer or refrigerator in the rooms

The breakfast room is in the basement and is indoors. There is an inner garden and an outdoor seating area for smokers

Located inside the old city this hotel was very nice except for one issue in our room - the water pressure was so low it was almost impossible to have a proper shower. Breakfast was ok.

And because it's in the central part of the ancient city, it's easy to walk around for food and drinks. The only minor drawback is that the soundproofing in the rooms could be a bit better; everything else was great

This is my second stay at the Orient Star in Khiva. I would choose this hotel over and over again mainly because of the location; it has the best location in Khiva

Wonderful experience! Siyovush, the host and owner, was very friendly and interesting to talk to. The rooms were clean and the building stylish (lots of handmade details built my Siyovush and his father)

We had a wonderful time at Siyovush’s. The owner could not do enough for us, and we felt very welcomed throughout our stay. Air con was good and we also had some laundry done for 5$ which was very good

The owner is extremely kind, and he speaks a fluent English. He will do his best in helping to organise whatever needed by his guests: transfers, guided tours. Rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean

I asked for my laundry done here, the cost was USD $3/kilo and it was washed and folded well. The proprietor, who also lived with his family there, spoke good English and was helpful

Located 40 meters from the North Gate and 120 meters to the Ota Darvoza (Main Gate), make so easy moving inside the walls and back to rest and take a breath , and just around the corner there are two Milliy Taomlar (nacional dishes ) coffees , at very accesible prices

They give “Nothing is too much trouble” a whole new meaning - from Ibrahim on the front desk, to Adilbek who runs the show, to his adorable 11yr-old son after whom the hotel is named, Shokhjakhon - everyone is just immensely kind and welcoming

The breakfast was tasty and filling! The guesthouse is located right next to the south gate so it's very easy to walk to all the main sights in the walled city. I'd definitely stay here again!

The location is convenient (5ish minute walk to the main street of sights in Khiva). I ate the best eggs of my life there. They were fried on a bed of onions and peppers and had the most perfectly gooey yolk

Beautiful and clean hotel near the city center. The lady speaks great English, her father is very nice and prepared very tasty local food for us. We got a beautiful room with a large and clean bathroom

The landlord's family is warm and considerate. They solved various problems for us. Every time we came back from a tour, they sent us meals, which touched us deeply

I could not finish it so I would save the leftovers to eat later. Remember that Khiva is a little out of the way from the axis Tashkent, Samarkanda and Bukhara
