The Farovon was an excellent hotel choice for our 2 nights in Khiva as it offers really good, very clean facilities and is only a short distance to the tourist sights (20,000 som taxi arranged by reception)
One of the best hotels during our trip through Uzbekistan. Everything is new, spacious, and stylishly decorated with local accents. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and very quiet
The hotel is large and peaceful, with hardly any other guests. The staff is polite and helpful, and the extensive breakfast is excellent. There is also a heated pool and a sauna
Fantastic hotel with great service. The hotel is huge and the bedroom spacious. Great breakfast with attentive staff. They have nice heated pool and sauna. Nobody was there and we had great time in the pool
If you use Yandex Go, their version of Uber, the cost is often just $1 or less. I think it's the best choice to stay when you're in Khiva. Breakfast is pretty good with many options for the buffet
Breakfast was also very good here with loads of choices as well as an omelette/egg station. The room was very clean, large and with a comfortable bed and the bathroom was also very good

So choose groundfloor rooms if you have lots of luggage. Did not try the pool as it was too hot during my stay. There were no umbrellas / no shade
Only a few hundred metres walking distance away from the northern gate via a park. Choose rooms with balcony / pool ans city views
Clean rooms, hearty excellent breakfast, service at a good level. The great location makes this hotel one of the best for those tourists who decided to explore Khiva and are accustomed to comfort.
The hotel provides u almost every facilities from clean room to poll,gym etc. Thers amazing chandelier everywhere u look including cafareia with amazing breakfast Overall experience was awesome
5 mins walk to the old city walls, the hotel is very new and a great place to relax after traveling and sight seeing, plus our rooms had a terrace with a good view of the old city walls
Located just near the gates and wall (perfect location),the hotel is clean and provides u great hospitality. The hotel manager is very helpful and will guide u throughout your stay

This hotel is new and quite nice. The rooms are clean and the staff are attentive. When we arrived, we were invited to an evening performance by the manager, Islam. The evening was a lot of fun and very memorable
I wasn’t a guest but was welcomed as an esteemed traveller. I was able to enjoy the incredible Uzbek hospitality. The sophisticated dishes I tried here were by far the most exquisite I have tasted in Uzbekistan
If we return to Urgench, we will plan to stay at Hotel Karavan again
The staff is fluent in English and very competent

Fantastic value for money with excellent upper class facilities for the money you pay. Lovely swimming pool, room is made up every day without asking
Closely located to railway station. Ichan Kala is 10 min from the hotel. There are couple of restaurants, banks and a mini market in 2 min walking distance. Very polite and friendly staff, always willing to help
Very cool hotel. The staff is helpful. The breakfast is delicious. The coffee is like in Italy. You wouldn’t regret to stay here
The breakfast room is very glamorous and the breakfast is very extensive and decent
The whole place just felt like it just needs a bit more care and attention and it could be a very nice hotel. They weren't that busy when we stayed so it was fairly quiet
The location is quite close to the old town although options for places to eat nearby is not that great

On February 23, we were given vouchers to Khiva from work, we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted very well, they gave everyone rooms, at the reception the guy met everyone very politely, explained the routine, the rooms are generally at the highest level, the bed is clean, the rooms are clean, the towels are all clean , very good service, dinner was ordered in the restaurant in the evening and another...

This is a good value for money no thrills hotel offering a major plus: a swimming pool. A little bit soviet flavour remains, but this does not for staff which is very friendly and helpful
I like Uzbekistan. 5 stars just because I like Uzbek people. Anyway very close to the Old City.

Very comfy bed. Their garden is beautiful. Have a lounge area where I can chill out with friends. Staff is very friendly. But the food are always the same menu. Hope they can change the menu everyday
It is conveniently located at the South gate, so just a couple of minutes walking from the old centre

We stayed in Orzu on April 2019. Hotel is clean and good condition. So you may be able to see the old khive very comfortably. If we will visit Khive back (I hope I am) I will be happyly stay here again
The owner of Orzu is a kind and welcoming host. Rooms are tidy, beds confier than the ones we've had before. Breakfast is extensive: pastries, fruit, jam bread tea and coffee
Great place, amazing breakfast not with just coffee and tea, but also eggs, fruits, butter, bread, biscuits. The place is fresh, there is a big garden to share
The host will also gladly arrange taxi rides for small trips to and from Khiva. Overall a very nice b&b, great experience and excellent value for money
Very nice and cozy guesthouse. Run by owner and his family - all are very nice and warm people ready to help and advice.
The cleaner is nice and really good at her job. I suggest this place to everyone

Very clean, comfortable rooms and good price. Fantastic breakfast on the balcony overlooking the walls of Khiva old city. Shame that there was only one toilet/shower to share between all shared rooms
The place is very well situated in front of the main entrance of the town. The hospitality of the family is beyond, owner’s son Shahbos speaks good English
Made things and bit slow in the morning. Other than that, very nice place to stay in Khiva
The day tour he arranged for us to the castles, Nukus and Moynak was unforgettable!
Clean, comfortable, outside the old city wall but 50m walk to the west gate. Bed is quite hard, toilet only one (luckily I was the only guest), water/coffee/tea are not provided (as in other guesthouses/hostels).
We lounged on the terrace drinking cheap beer until it cooled off and then we went across the street in to the old City center for dinner. The staff is extremely helpful and do speak a little English
