Spacious and have all the basic requirements, plus breakfast (noodle or fried eggs plus bread, fruits, beverages). No lift but they will help you to carry luggage to your room. Big problem is the hotel location is no accessible by taxi so no good if you carry big luggage. But it's nearby to the most attractions, walking distance

Absolutely loved our stay. Super friendly staff and is a much quieter location than other boutique hotels. Price is great for what you get. Was a bit hard to find but totally worth it

Very old room and hotel, poor breakfasts, the room had a window to the wall. Pros: excellent location for tourists, friendly staff, daily cleaning service. Cons: very old room, musty smell, which is not ventilated. If you open the window, there will be mosquitoes. The plumbing and sink are stained with old stains. I wouldn't recommend it.

I stayed for 3 nights.

It was located in an alley in the old town, so it was very easy to go sightseeing. It was very close to the church.

The hotel staff were kind and friendly, and I felt at ease because they politely responded to my email questions before sightseeing.

I was planning to return to Japan on a late-night flight, so it was helpful to be able to leave my luggage on the day of check-out. (As for security, you just have to trust the hotel staff.)

For the free breakfast, you can order one item from pho ga or omelettes, or you can have bread, fruit, and yogurt in a buffet style. I liked the bread and yogurt and ate them every day. It's a location where it's easy to eat out, but it's still easy to eat at the hotel.

The puppy in the house in front of the hotel often barks and wanders around without a leash at certain times, which was scary. (It's fine if you just walk calmly, but my friend was being chased.) The hotel entrance is at the end of a narrow alley, so it's unavoidable. It's a good hotel that I would like to use again when I come to Hanoi, but this is the only drawback.

The location is very difficult to find.
I asked people nearby but they couldn't find the location.
Even Google was skeptical.
But if you zoom in on Google and look for a barber shop with an anime character that resembles Mario, turn right there.
I recommend bringing earplugs as there is construction going on nearby from morning until late at night so you won't be able to sleep.
Other than that, the staff were fluent in English and friendly, and the room was spacious and clean.

It's close to the church, so it was nice to be able to do a lot of sightseeing from here.
The long-haired female staff member was very kind and helped me in many ways, even though I don't speak much English or Vietnamese.

However, the room was not vacuumed and was full of dust, perhaps because it was OK to wear shoes.
(Maybe there is no culture of vacuuming in Vietnam?)
The bathtub also has grime on it, so it is not recommended to use the bathtub.
The cups were also dirty, and there were dead insects in the water heater.
(Vietnamese restaurants also have a lot of garbage on the floor, so maybe it's just a national trait that doesn't bother them?)

Also, I drank a bottle of beer in the room, but when I paid for it, I felt like I was blown away a little bit.

The female staff told me to pay 25,000 VND to the male staff later, but at the time of payment I was charged 35,000 VND (the room slip also said 25,000 VND).

Since there is no culture of tipping, it was inevitable to make money, and the amount was not that big, so I paid...

The female staff were very nice,
It was like, oh my god.

If this were the case, it would be a much cheaper guesthouse.
I felt like another foreign hotel would have been better💦

It was a hotel where I was able to experience Vietnam, both good and bad!
