Luxury Old Quarter Hotel & Gym in Hanoi

The hotel is located in the Old Quarter area, but still away from the most popular street for nightlife, so it is quieter in the evening. The receptionists and the rest of the hotel staff are all super friendly, attentive and helpful. Upon arrival, they will provide you with a list of recommended things to do nearby in Hanoi and also have some promotions with business partners for your leisure. Tours and airport transfers can also be arranged via the receptionists at an additional cost. The bathroom contains an unconventional Japanese-style jacuzzi hybrid bathtub/shower unit and toilet with a non-electronic bidet nozzle. The base of the bathtub is shaped for lying in rather than for standing upright, so worth being aware of, as it could be potentially challenging to enter and exit if you have mobility issues. The front-facing rooms are all built around a centrally-positioned French-style skylight that spans across multiple floors up to the top. The furnishing and amenities are a little dated and could do with a bit of upkeep, however suits the vibe of the area well. The breakfast options are modest but still tasty. I liked the congee and pho, but they also do a few Western breakfast meals, including bread, toast and some fruit. They can also prepare for you a breakfast takeaway package (sandwiches) if you happen to leave early, before breakfast service begins. The gym is located near the highest flooor but it is small and only has some light-moderate weights, but does include a treadmill. I also upgraded my room to a Suite with a balcony for the course of my stay when I arrived, at an additional yet reasonable price, which included a nice view of the street below from the balcony

We love attention to details even pre message before we arrive. Emma, Saffron and all hotel staffs were so helpful and care for us during our stay. Location is convenience within Hanoi Old Quarter. Only 5-10 mins to night market from Friday to Sunday. Keep up the good work 👍
