Monarque Hotel Danang in Da Nang

It's a shame I only managed to take photos of the lobby on the first floor. However, when you arrive at the hotel from the airport by Grab, the staff are incredibly kind – they open the taxi door for you and then the hotel door. Upon arrival, they offer a welcome tea and some simple snacks, which are absolutely delicious! Haha. We stayed at the Monarque for 3 nights, and our plan was to eat breakfast at the hotel if it was good, otherwise, we'd eat out. But the breakfast was so good, we ate it all three days! LOL. And they had mangoes at breakfast... I ate so much, it was amazing! As for the shower filter issue that many people mention, I didn't bring one, but the water was clean and came out fine. The room condition was also great, and the air conditioning worked perfectly, keeping the room cool. Next time I go to Da Nang, I'll definitely book the Monarque again! All the staff members were so friendly, it was truly wonderful.

Loved it! I particularly want to highlight the staff, who go out of their way to help with everything and ensure a comfortable stay. The breakfast was excellent, offering everything from Olivier salad to sushi and jamon. From 2 PM to 5 PM, there's a complimentary afternoon tea/coffee with delicious treats. We also received a free airport transfer for staying 5 nights.

I would honestly give this hotel more than full marks if I could. It exceeded our expectations in so many ways, and considering the reasonable price, it offered incredible value for money.

My family booked two rooms for three nights. Before arriving, we had a rather unpleasant experience at our previous hotel where we were bitten badly by what seemed to be bed mites. As a result, we contacted this hotel before check-in and politely requested that the rooms be thoroughly cleaned and that all bed linens be changed.

From the moment we arrived, the staff showed genuine care and professionalism. They kindly asked about our situation and reassured us that both rooms had been deep cleaned. We were welcomed with cold towels, refreshing welcome drinks, and delicious desserts, which immediately made us feel comfortable and cared for.

When we entered our rooms, we were pleasantly surprised to find an air purifier already prepared for us. The rooms were spotless and impeccably clean. Everything felt fresh, and we could immediately see the effort the hotel had put into ensuring our comfort. Most importantly, every member of the staff was incredibly warm, friendly, and sincere.

The hotel also provides complimentary afternoon tea. While the selection is not extensive, it is more than enough for a relaxing break with a cup of tea. The kids’ playroom is conveniently located nearby, which made the experience even more enjoyable for families.

Another wonderful surprise was that the hotel treated each guest to a complimentary bowl of traditional Vietnamese noodle soup for dinner. It was delicious and became one of the highlights of our stay.

Before arriving, I was a little concerned because guests need to climb a short flight of stairs to reach the lobby. We were travelling with an elderly family member and a stroller, so I worried it might be inconvenient. However, every single time we needed assistance, the staff immediately stepped forward to help carry our luggage and stroller. Their attentiveness truly impressed us.

Since the hotel is located beside a main road, transportation could have been slightly challenging, but once again the staff went above and beyond. Whenever our Grab arrived, they would help us call the driver closer to the entrance and even hold umbrellas for us during hot weather, making it much easier and safer for our family to get in and out of the vehicle.

We stayed for three nights, and every morning the breakfast was varied, plentiful, and delicious. There was always something different to enjoy, which made breakfast something we looked forward to each day.

Overall, we are extremely satisfied with our stay. The cleanliness, thoughtful service, excellent hospitality, and attention to detail made this one of the most memorable hotel experiences we have had. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area, especially families with children and elderly travellers.

The service is absolutely exceptional – from the moment you arrive, you feel welcomed, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. Every request is handled with kindness and professionalism, and the staff is always ready to help at any time.

The location is perfect, right across from the beach. The beautiful swimming pool, delicious breakfasts, and delightful afternoon tea with a great selection of snacks make the stay even more enjoyable.

The rooms are spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. There's also a fantastic kids' playroom on the 12th floor next to the pool, which is a great bonus for families.

We also loved the extra benefits offered when extending our stay – the longer you stay, the more pleasant surprises you receive. If you haven't exchanged your cash yet, they have currency exchange at reception.

We will definitely come back! Our vacation was truly unforgettable.

This hotel is like a 'gypsy baroque' style – expensive and lavish. There's molding, gilding, and paintings everywhere. But the air conditioning is always cranked up to the max, so you can't sit anywhere for long. We were greeted with a welcome drink, and the service was excellent; staff accompanied us everywhere, asked what we needed, and checked if everything was satisfactory. We were given an upgraded room with a sea view, and the view truly was stunning. However, the room smelled strongly of smoke, and the smell lingered all night. The pool is small and cold, with only four sun loungers and two gazebos. Breakfast was decent, with fruits, pastries, meat and fish dishes, and cheeses. We left with mixed feelings; on one hand, the service was great, but on the other, it felt like being in a cold museum.

We stayed at the hotel for two weeks and didn't regret our choice for a second. Excellent service, clean, and cozy. It has everything you need if you're traveling light. The sea is just across the road. Breakfasts are delicious and varied. There's a small but clean swimming pool. There's also a bar where you can order cocktails. For afternoon tea, they offer tea with fruit and desserts. In the evening, as a complimentary treat, you get cookies in your room with good night wishes. Linens, towels, and bathrobes are changed regularly. Definitely recommend!

The hotel service is top-notch. They have welcome tea and complimentary pho ready for you. It's super convenient as My Khe Beach is just across the street. The breakfast selection is quite extensive. The only downside is the pillows are too high, which was really uncomfortable for my shoulders.

My son gave 5 stars hotel rate for kind and warm service from the staffs.
Amazing food, free afternoon tea and even Pho for dinner for everyone of us.
Should improve the soundproofing for the room, can hear the external noise to the room.

Location is near Danang beach. Afternoon tea was great. However, selection for food nearby hotel is limited.

I was sceptical when I saw the hotel nestled between the row of 3/4-star beach front hotels but I must say the reception service put my worry to rest. The facilities have likely been recently renovated and the linens clean and fresh! Even the toiletries provided were not awful, if U ran out of your own. The spa and massage were simply wonderful that my HB and I had massage three days in a row (best in individual room)! They also threw in one free noodle and daily high tea. I would highly recommend anyone who is budget conscious yet want to stay in “comfort”. The spread of the hotel breakfast was also wide and decent.
