This is a very good resort Marriott if you want some quality pool and beach time; but want to be in striking distance of Hoi An and Hue for more sightseeing activities. Marble Mountain is also walking distance.

The rooms are huge, bathrooms are nice (big tub, walk in shower, 2 sinks, good pressure and hot water), air conditioning works well. It's not the newest Marriott property so there are some signs of age (some mattresses might need replacing) but everything works as expected. The sound proofing is good. I had an Ocean view room which gives a good view of sunrise over the beach.

The breakfast is amazing - a huge international buffet with local, western, Korean, Japanese cuisines, also a dedicated dessert station with ice cream bar, a coffee area including local Vietnamese coffee specialties, and a large area with breads and fruits. The hotel was fairly busy when I stayed there but there were always seats and it never felt too crowded, whether I went at 7am or 9.30am.

The gym is reasonable - has a bench and free weights (dumbbells) up to 20kg which is better than many hotels. There's a Smith machine, several weight machines, treadmills, cycles, yoga equipment, stretching equipment, and other things I'm sure I'm forgetting.

There are enough restaurant and bar options on site so you shouldn't get too bored, though Da Nang has a pretty good food scene worth checking out. Staff were very nice.

The buffet breakfast is amazing with a plethora of international items. During the week I sampled Allu Gobi paranthas from India, sushi and miso soup from Japan, sausages from Europe, hummus Turkish style. Waffles and crêpes served with mango and green tea, ice cream!
The local fruits and vegetables were fresh and delicious as well!
The servers were friendly and tried their best to accommodate our request.

Near beach, nice room, good food, excellent service

The hotel boasts beautiful surroundings, complete with its own private beach and five large outdoor swimming pools. The views are absolutely stunning, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway! Rooms are very spacious and have a premium feel. The breakfast spread offers a rich variety, and the service is excellent!

Had a fantastic and relaxing time here. The hotel is right on the beach front, which is where we spent most of our time. There are also fewer rooms than other hotels, which means fewer guests and a more peaceful stay. The breakfast was very good - lots of delicious choices to suit everyone.

It's situated away from town, which could also be a good thing or a bad thing. It's good because it's peaceful, but the food options at the resort were limited, so every time we wanted to eat, we had to 20 min each way car ride ahead of us.

There were exercises classes at 6am, which was a little early, but still good.

Overall, it was a very nice stay.

Booking a Four-Bedroom Ocean View Villa, but Only a Three-Bedroom Was Provided due to AC Malfunction. Upon arriving at the hotel, I was informed that due to an air conditioning malfunction, only a three-bedroom ocean view villa was available. The initial compensation offered was adding two extra beds to the three-bedroom villa and refunding the price difference. But how could four families be accommodated in three rooms?

Additionally, there were significant safety issues with the villa’s bed design. Both children and elderly guests sustained injuries as a result. Future guests should exercise caution when staying here.

The hotel breakfast was rich and varied with a wide selection. The swimming pool was stunning, offering a direct view of the sunrise.
