The hotel is close to the Ha Long Bay wharf and the beach, which is convenient. There are also free bicycles. The front desk manager is enthusiastic and can communicate in simple Chinese and English. The buffet breakfast is also very good.

The front desk is staffed 24/7, and the service is warm and friendly. Check-in was a breeze, making for a really great stay. Definitely recommend it! It's also super close to the beach, just about a 15-minute walk at night.

We had a really great experience at the hotel. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was very quiet but aslo close to the beach clubs . My wife and I stayed in the Elegance room for 2 nights. We were surprised to find that we had nearly a full quarter of the stern of the cruise boat on the first floor deck. The view from our room was exceptional to say the least. We also had a massage chair and a large jet bath with a huge bay view window located in a large bathroom. The facilities are average, only supplies for 2 people are provided for 4 people. The sound insulation is very poor. A bunch of people were making noise at the door early in the morning, which greatly affected my mood.

As soon as you arrive at the hotel, a waiter will help you unload your luggage and open the door to welcome you. The room is very clean and the bed is big but for me personally the bed is too soft.

The front desk was indifferent. Do they have a problem with Chinese people? The breakfast was good, but the service was terrible. They also charged for the ordinary mineral water in the room. This was the first time I encountered this. It was very bad!

The room was clean. I don't know if it wasn't the only room we reserved, but the refrigerator wasn't cool at all. It can’t be refrigerated. There aren't many kinds of food in the restaurant.

Areas for improvement: 1. The air conditioner is controlled by the front desk and guests cannot operate it. It stopped three times in one night. 2. The location is not too far from the cruise terminal. There are not many options for breakfast in the restaurant, but the food is quite satisfying. After a booking failure, Ha Long Land Hotel was the only hotel we could find open in Tuan Chau - assuming they are all slowly recovering from Covid lockdown. The staff in Ha Long Lane Hotel did not speak English but were very accommodating in using Google Translate. They also sorted us with food and transport around the town. Very happy with the room also, with a view of the ocean.

Prime location although the hotel is old and facilities is not upgraded. However, the staffs are helpful and have great attitude. Price is reasonable. The good thing is free parking for car. There is pickles ball court inside the hotel.

The room is clean and provided with necessary items, just remember to bring the body wash with you as there is only shampoo. This hotel is quite near to the beach so it's pretty convenient for swimming. The rooms that are on the opposite of the elevator has balconies with view towards the sea and the rope way. You can also see the sun wheel and the bridge lit so beautifully at night.

The price is very reasonable, on the 30/4 vacation, I looked for a room in the Garden of Peach but saw all the newspapers so I moved here. My family has a husband and wife, 2 children in one room. Delicious food, cheaper than eating outside but clean and full

Very tight iternary of activities, hard to participate. Food and beverages were ok. We got one major issue when one of our group mates - a lady of 70 - by mistake opened a vodka bottle without consuming anything. Was mixed up with water. The personel insteded to have her paid the whole bottle. Whatch out what you touch when you approach any buffet on this ship.

This cruise was booked by my tour operator & me and my wife enjoyed cruising through Ha Long Bay, one night stay and food served on this cruise ship was great and awesome, also loved sightseeing in Halong Bay.

We had stay here in January 2026 Cruise is well maintained and staff is very polite and have managed special food as per our request We were able to get Jain Food in the Cruise. However in some of item when asked for repeat order they denied at first and later on when requested to different person we got it. Activities on Cruise is also good.

I really enjoyed this hotel, it's on a corner so easy to get to and from and only a short walk to anywhere (whilst staying a lot quieter than those in the centre of town!) Also has a great (small) sitting area outside the main bar.

Stayed for one night as part of an Explore! tour in December 2025. We arrived at the hotel in the evening after spending most of the day in Hanoi. Check-in was quick and the lifts worked well. My room was a good size and, even though I was staying solo, it would be fine for a couple staying with big suitcases. The fixtures and fittings were relatively new, e.g. flat screen TV, modern safe etc....

Nice and clean hotel though there’s only 1 elevator that isn’t that big so expect to wait for a bit for the elevator. The food is actually pretty good during dinner.

As of today, this is the only hotel on the island that actually has a breakfast buffet. Compare to the bigger and better reviewed Tuan Chau Resort, who is over price from their formal glory and currently NOT the better value. Harbour Hotel is 300 VND (about $12 USA) less than Tuan Chau Resort, with better quality. Plus at the Harbor Hotel, you don’t have to walk in the hot weather to get to a limited...
