The hotel is in a beautiful, historic building. I stayed in a room without a window, which was actually a plus since it is located next to a busy street. Location was very convenient. I really enjoyed the historic atmosphere of the building and the room. The room was huge and very clean. Breakfast was excellent, with eggs, omelets, and fresh bread. I am very satisfied with my stay.

The hotel is in a great location, in the heart of District 1. It is an older hotel and has not seen much of an upgrade over the years. It is comfortable enough, and has a small terrace bar that has a good view over the river.

Housekeeping did a great job cleaning the room every day and even refilling the shampoo and body wash. The staff were friendly and nice, and the location was very convenient and accessible to nearby attractions.

The room smelled very weird and everything in the room looked strange, the staff that helped me with bags were wearing crocks and a hoodie with no proper uniforms seemed unprofessional.

Compliant: never heard that a friend pay a visit for an hour has to pay extra VND353,000 but not overnight ! Please remark it clearly next time !

Convenient location, everything is within easy walking distance. The staff are friendly, and the breakfast is acceptable. The room facilities are basic, and the bathroom is very minimal; water overflows from the shower when you use it. For the price I paid, I have no complaints.

Everything feels so good not until the mid-age bell boy show up, he insisted to help my luggage and back pack which I handle very well at the begining. When he dropped 2 piece in my room, and then staring at me, ok I get it, I give him 3oooo vnd for tip. Guest what? He said at least 100000 vnd, cause 100000 vnd in vietnam is nothing?! Ok, then I give him 70000vnd in total which all I have in cash...

The staff were very welcoming and even offered complimentary fruit. However, there were no disposable slippers provided. Be sure to keep your room card safe, as a lost one costs 100 yuan. Also, only two small bottles of water are provided; you'll need to buy more if you drink a lot.

The service was excellent; the front desk and staff spoke both Mandarin and Cantonese, which was very nice. There's a big supermarket downstairs for shopping, and a lively bar street nearby.

Stayed a year ago . We are thinking of the staff at the Duc Vuong and we hope they are all OK . Duc Vuong and their staff made the Vietnam experience 10 times better. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was great with a different traditional vietnamese dish each morning. I will recommend Duc Vuong hotel to anyone who wants to be right in the night life zone.

This is a basic but spotlessly clean hotel right in the middle of Bui Vien walking street. Rooms are exactly what you would expect for the price but the best thing about this hotel is the staff who are absolutely lovely! Photos looked great but finer detail missing in person. Staff were very friendly and attentive, but there had no pool operating. They upgraded my room which was nice, but then room lost power and had to change rooms late at night. Both rooms had bathtubs with marble surface that had been reglued many times and we're uneven and you can see under where there was dirt and mould growing.
