Where to stay in Ho Chi Minh

Service was atrocious- staff could not have been less help - really disappointing in a city that has so much to offer - rooms, breakfast and location were quite good but the front of house staff made the stay very disappointing!

A solid 3 star hotel, it’s clean and tidy and really not bad. As others have mentioned, the breakfast is really good with more variety than expected. The Pho was excellent. A bit of a walk to the centre of District 1, but safe and interesting along the way as long as you remain aware of the crazy traffic when you need to step onto the street from the broken footpaths, as you need to do throughout Saigon

The staff are very helpful and polite. Rooms are nice but no great views at the front or back. There is a beautiful monument to a Buddhist monk and beautiful gardens just around the corner from the hotel. Hotel located on an extremely busy street 24/7. The outdoor swimming pool is located on the street beside the main entrance and is rather small and very public. Breakfast is nice.

Decent hotel for the price. I had a two days budget stay and wanted to stay in District 1. You should note that the facilities are a bit run down, but if you don't intend to stay in the hotel room except for sleeping, then this is a okay choice.

The room was a bit small, but clean. It had everything we needed: air conditioning, a shower, etc. It's close to the airport, which is perfect for catching an early flight the next day, and the shuttle service is convenient. There are also places to eat nearby. I'd definitely stay here again.

The location is good, very close to the airport. The taxi only took ten minutes to get there. However, it's inside a small street, not possible for two cars to pass through. Because we arrived a bit late, near-by food restaurants were all closed. Only convenient stores were available. The area has been fun anyway.

This an older hotel and could do with an update. But the price is nice, the location is great and the staff is friendly. The hot water takes a while to reach the room, but this is HCM its allways hit, just shower colder 🤗 as a solo traveler i would come again.

I had a smooth and pleasant stay at DYN Opera Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. The check-in process was impressively fast—just a quick passport scan and I was on my way to my room. Great small hotel with lovely staff and great location.

Great location and spacious rooms, but they're a bit dated and show their age. The hotel definitely needs some renovation. The staff, however, were very polite and courteous.

The environment is just average, but it's super convenient for shopping and buying food and necessities. Probably the best massage in Ho Chi Minh is right next door. The staff's attitude was good. There aren't many facilities, and the room design feels stuck in the 80s. The mattress was too soft. It was very noisy at night, making it hard to sleep. I wouldn't recommend staying here again.

I would not do business here again.  I rented a room with friends here twice, each time I did they would keep moving me out to a smaller room when there’s a large family.  Once was fine, but both times is not right.   Also I paid for breakfast, they refuse to make it if there were not enough patrons.  Horrible way to do business.

This hotel is basically on par with a guesthouse in China. The main upside is its proximity to the airport; you can walk there or take a 10-minute taxi ride. it was a great hotel, thanks so much! The location is near the market and other tourist sites. There was a dedicated security guard outside the hotel the whole time. The one thing i was unhappy about was the wifi connection was really poor. It always said 'connected, no internet'. Please can management try to fix it.

I really enjoyed my stay at Parkview Luxury Hotel. It is ideally situated in District 1 to visit all the sites, a lot of which are within walking distance. My room was large and just like the photos. It was clean and very well presented. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. I would certainly stay at this hotel again and highly recommend it.

This is an old Indian hotel with a great location, but the facilities are old, the maintenance is sloppy, and the beach is very dirty and can't be set on. Can't go there again.

Not really worth the price. I paid almost RM500 for 2 nights but aircond didn’t work well, room was small, bathroom tiles were slippery and dimly lit. Staff were okay but not very helpful. The only good thing is it’s just about 200m from Ben Thanh Market but not too close. Wouldn’t recommend, especially for the price.
