The hotel is a little run down and not very clean. For the price paid, I have stayed in better hotel. The only consolation was the spa right next to it.

Very noisy at night, near the market, convenient, city centre

Not really worth the price. I paid almost RM500 for 2 nights but aircond didn’t work well, room was small, bathroom tiles were slippery and dimly lit. Staff were okay but not very helpful. The only good thing is it’s just about 200m from Ben Thanh Market but not too close. Wouldn’t recommend, especially for the price.

It's pretty good; it's one of the better hotels.

The room was a bit cramped, but there weren't many good rooms available nearby. The bed was a bit high; I felt like I was going to fall off. That's just how the room was, so there wasn't much I could do. It was fine once I fell asleep.

Apart from the rooms being a bit small, everything else was pretty good. The overall facilities were decent, and the stay was quite pleasant. It wasn't too noisy being on the street, and the transportation was convenient.

It's 63,000 VND (9,000 VND airport fee) by Grab to Tan Son Nhat Airport. Friendly staff. Interesting elevator. Pleasant terrace. Good wifi. Only once the shower didn't have hot water. No smart TV.

The hotel is nice despite being near the party street it isnt as noisy. The shower took a bit of time before it heats up but the room is ok. The staff are nice and waited for us even whem we returned at 1am

I was first assigned to room 603, which was quite small. Later, I was moved to room 203, but it turned out to be the exact same room type. The drainage was very slow, especially when showering. However, the price-performance ratio was excellent, so I can't really complain. Overall, it was acceptable.

The price for this room was high, not sure if this was due to New Year’s Eve. The room is very small, just big enough for two beds and out bags squashed in. The bathroom also small with hand held shower. It was clean. The front desk staff were friendly enough. It’s in a great location and it quiet at night.

Location and cost were great. Charging me for a fan that shook itself off moring was not cool.

Good service attitude, average hardware

Front desk agent is very nice and sweet. Doorman is very grumpy and rude. The inconvenience was that they didn’t allow us two have keys and made every person to scan their id if they went to any room. You’re allow to have visitors.

The location of Lucky Star hotel is excellent and convenient. We found many Vietnamese food around. Quality of rooms is good, bed and pillows very comfortable. The staff of this hotel are very welcome and helpful. We had a nice experience here.

I stayed here for 4 nights i got food poisoning in saigon so i was pretty sick and as i was alone i was very stressed but the staff was so kind and polite they helped me with the pharmacy with money exchange shops nearby and everytime i walked down they made sure to check if i was doing alright and if i need some help.Thank you so much I would definitely recommend people to stay here and thanks alot...

Good central location in district 1, yet comparatively cheap

The Sunway Hotel, located in very lively area between Nguyễn Huệ "walking street" and Saigon Center shopping mall, has good rooms (as expected from description and photos), is astonishing quiet at night for the surrounding. there is a table, a fridge, a large wardrobe and a clean bathroom. It's worth the price. (November 2022)

Great location. Staff is friendly. Check in and out was straight forward and quick. Room gets cleaned whenever you request it to. Rooms are good sized as are the bathrooms. Water pressure is good and hot water on demand. AC works well. Only negatives are that there are adjacent bars on each side which play music until late. Also the mattress is a bit firmer than I care for.

The location is fantastic, as it's within walking distance to Japan Town, Takashimaya, Vincom Center, and even the Saigon River area. I requested laundry service, and they kindly took care of it for only 50,000 VND, which was great. The front desk staff were also very accommodating. There was shampoo and body wash provided, but it would have been even better if hand soap had also been available

The best of this hotel is the location and its price. Walkable to the market President residence, and many good restaurants. Small hotel only 4 guest rooms on each floor but room is spacious. Worst thing is the wifi, always bad connection, we have to keep switching to use other room's wifi.
