Where to stay in Ho Chi Minh

Since the hotel is located in Ho Chi Minh City's Koreatown, I saw many Koreans, and there are many Korean restaurants nearby, offering a wide range of choices. However, it is quite far from the airport, so the travel distance is considerable.

Only inexpensive place because I am on budget

Compared to other Ho Chi Minh hotels I've stayed at, it's average.

I think it's good enough for the price. The receptionist speaks only Vietnamese, so if you are familiar with Southeast Asia, you should have no problem. Basically they are kind and I have no complaints.

The location though one may consider tight just like any in D10 was within reach of everything

Just for a transit, it's clean and close to the airport. It takes about 10 minutes by Grab to get to the airport. I asked for an adapter but they didn't have one. In the morning, the power went out and it still hadn't come back on by the time I checked out at 8 AM.

Great hotel- great budget prices. Clean and safe - great location. Staff are unbelievably friendly- polite - and will do anything and everything for you. We got upgraded to the VIP room on the eighth floor which was really big- around the size of 2 rooms. Room was clean and well kept. My only issue was that the lift motor was quite noisy. I finding everything was great be it the location, staff friendliness, room & bed quality. Only one main thing I dislike is the soundproofing, is like almost none and it can be frustrated early in the morning 6am where the other room guests came out which I think there's a family occupying few rooms at same level, then they are talking across the corridor and the door closing sound is loud.
