Alexander’s place is truly incredible, it’s difficult to capture its charm and beauty in pictures, so much character. It was the perfect location walking distance to the city centre and castle, the hosts were very hospitable and kind. This was one of my favourite places to stay on our trip, the hosts dog is so sweet and friendly. We highly recommend :-)

Lovely hotel, great location- a little hard to find but worth it. The service was welcoming and very helpful with suggestions of restaurants and things to see and do. We booked our stay just two hours before check-in because our original hotel turned out to be too far from the city center and we had to cancel. The lady who checked us in was lovely. You can’t drive up to Hotel Gorica. You need to park in the public car park next to the bridge 2-3 mins walk from the hotel. Once we’d done that, check in was done remotely - very easy. We had a lovely scenic lunch at the restaurant here. Tasty dishes, friendly service and splendid views from the panoramic terrace. Indoors looked nice, too, with a traditional decor.

Amazing restaurant. The upstairs area is very cozy with a stunning view of the city. Relaxing music plays in the background, making it a perfect atmosphere. The local food is 10 out of 10 and the service is also 10 out of 10.

It is a really good hotel. I stayed here for five days and it was really really good. The hospitality was one of the best things. The view of the city is amazing. Its really close to the city center like 1 minute away. If you need something you have the supermarket at the ground floor and also pharmacies nearby. The location is good however the rooms are absolutely not recommended. No separate bathrooms , Very noisy because of the kitchen and the restaurant downstairs.
