Great experience, property owner was very sweet and accommodative and guided us through.
Room was very clean and so was the bathroom. Fairly comfortable bedding.

Absolutely recommend this place. It is located in the UNESCO quarter. We booked our stay just two hours before check-in because our original hotel turned out to be too far from the city center and we had to cancel. The lady who checked us in was lovely. The room was cozy with a stunning view. Breakfast was tasty and filling. I would 10000% come back.

1) A hot shower with high water pressure.
2) A truly comfortable bed.
3) A delicious filling breakfast.
4) Friendly helpful people.

Beautiful, authentic hotel within easy walking distance of copious bars, restaurants, and shops. The hostess was extremely welcoming and friendly, very happy to give tips for the area. Room was comfortable, clean and well air-conditioned, with a balcony and stunning view. The location is perfect because you are a little bit further from the main hustle and bustle, but right next to a little collection of restaurants and bars away from the main drag. Their restaurant - where hotel guests get 10% off - was also lovely. Parking is easy with plenty of cheap places nearby.

You can’t drive up to Hotel Gorica. You need to park in the public car park next to the bridge 2-3 mins walk from the hotel. Once we’d done that, check in was done remotely - very easy. We stayed in Room 8, one of the two attic rooms which are significantly cheaper than the other rooms. It was okay for a night but it’s difficult to avoid banging your head on the ceiling! There was also a problem with the remote control for the aircon - we couldn’t change the temperature and were pretty cold overnight. We met our host at breakfast the following morning. She was lovely. Very chatty. The breakfast was excellent, and plentiful. Recommended - but maybe pass on the attic rooms!

Lovely little hotel. We stayed for one night and loved it! Berat is a beautiful place.
We struggled to find the hotel as it’s down a bit of a side street but we found the restaurant by the same name (balcony gorices) and the staff kindly walked us up to the hotel. It’s worth noting the free parking is in this restaurant also.
The breakfast was insanely big considering the room price. We got bread, eggs, jam, cheese, meat, pastries, fruit, orange juice, water and coffee!! We were stuffed.
Staff were generally really friendly and helpful.
The bed was comfy and room very clean.

This is an hotel with a local historical touch. It is really such a great experience to be in this hotel in a traditional home with an local and historical architecture . The rooms are unique with local decorations and they have all what you need in a hotel room. Internet is available and there is a parking near by. They provide a breakfast in a beautiful dining room(please check the pictures) with a full set of juice pastry fruits and bread and cold curs. Definitely I recommend this place and I will come back.

The lamb, beaf and prown are very fresh and delicious. This is really a good restaurant!

Nice view over the river, but that's about the only reason to go. The pizza had supermarket ham on it, and canned mushrooms. The service was fine, but there was little atmosphere and reason to stay any longer than it took to eat.
