Arté Boutique Hotel in Tirana

This hotel is absolutely horrible. We unfortunately stayed for two nights. The hotel itself was not cheap (especially for Albania), but nowhere on Booking was it mentioned that it is a part of a very loud bar/restaurant. The first night, the music was so loud we could not get more than a few hours of sleep, the music was blasting until +/- 2 a.m. On top of that, other guests were drunkenly stomping in the corridor the whole night, screaming at each other and even tried to get into our room at one point. This was the only time when we felt unsafe during our trip in Albania, so if you are female/s, DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. On our second night, the music was definitely quieter, unfortunately however, our AC stopped working at 10 p.m. and there was noone at the reception to assist us. We had to sleep with window open to a busy street, which resulted in another night of terrible sleep and many mosquito bites. Not to mention the beds are in terrible condition, and the “included” breakfast is a total scam. 1 toast with a slice of ham and cheese for 60+ €/ night is simply laughable.

First thing to know is there is no parking available. It's in a very busy area of Tirana so finding street parking is very challenging. The main restaurant is under renovation so it looks very dark and not very appealing at the moment. The section of the street is not the best. There were a lot of homeless people hanging around and it did not smell the best. One thing to be aware of is the "Superior Apartment" is not a part of the same building the hotel is in. It's a 2-block walk from hotel. This hotel is not appropriate for families or large groups traveling together.

Awful service
Awful experience. The hotel front desk is not marked so I looked for it for about 20-30 minutes before reading online reviews complaining about the same thing. They shared that the front desk is inside the bar, which they really need to tell people ahead of time. The entrance to the hotel doesn’t have a front desk in it, but that’s what is shown as the entrance online

No one answers the phone here which made things worse

They confirmed my reservation, but didn’t have a room for me when I showed up there, after taking a 3 hour bus and getting a taxi. I was feeling faint and the guy was extremely unhelpful. He said he had a room and I had to wait in the heat, but then he said he couldn’t give me a room.

The whole thing was wildly unprofessional. Don’t stay here
