The room faces a main road which is very loud, which is something to consider if you're a light sleeper but I managed fine. We stayed an extra night. This hotel was very comfortable. Even in winter, the heating was excellent, the hot water was hot, the breakfast was great, and there was free drinking water. We really liked this hotel; the main attractions are all within a few hundred meters.

The hotel is located in the upscale district of Tirana, near the center of the district, so it was convenient to walk to the tourist spots.

The room is clean and tidy and the service attitude is good. If you save English when traveling, it can help the front desk staff to confirm the check-in information more quickly. Overall it is a good experience. The front desk bar is also very good.

The air conditioning did not work well, the heat in the room was horrible. We told reception that a supposed technician was coming but he never came.

The room was not necessarily what you would expect from a 4* hotel (damaged and stained walls) but did the job perfectly for one night, and allows quick access to the city center (7-10min walk)

We've had an amazing stay here for 3 nights. Our room was spacious for the 3 of us and cleaned everyday with fresh towels. It's close enough to a supermarket and the square. Fast check-in, location near the central square, A/C in the room (it was quite cold but the A/C helped me to warm the room a bit) plus a fridge and quite a big bathroom. Building is under construction, involving the problems

The staff were excellent, the food at breakfast and in the restaurant was very good. However, the building work around the hotel made relaxing at the pool and on the terrace impossible. The hotel, or *******, should advise guests, before they book that the disruption is intrusive and makes the pool area unsafe (by UK standards).

Allocated a room here after ******* messed up our reservation at the Metro hotel. Hotel clean and comfortable and centrally located. Room let down a bit by minor things - missing plug in basin, missing handle on shower door but fine for one night. Doro City hotel is an old fashioned hotel with few amenities. We were a group staying at the hotel. We spent little time actually in the hotel so it was ok. One tiny elevator serving all the guests.
