I loved how clean the hotel was and how spacious the rooms. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The pool was amazing. However, the breakfast options were very limited to omelette, some salad, butter and jam. The restaurant menu was also not very extensive. Lastly the road to get to the hotel was bumpy and steep.

I was without car but the internet was okay and the staffs were friendly.

The New York Hotel is beautiful and elegant, with comfortable rooms and a great location in Budapest. The atmosphere feels luxurious, and the breakfast is excellent. However, the front desk staff could be more attentive and responsive to guests’ needs — service at reception was not as good as expected. We thought it was close to the bus terminal which is why we book the stay here, yet there is no way to walk to/from the bus terminal to reach this hotel as there is a highway to cross. It is a good hotel but if you have car, mind this. Without car there is no way to get anyway from hotel. There is no shops or restaurants around. Fast check-in, location near the central square, A/C in the room (it was quite cold but the A/C helped me to warm the room a bit) plus a fridge and quite a big bathroom. Nice, clean hotel, in a good location. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to Skanderberg Square, therefore it is easy to get to all of the places of interest on foot. However if you’re visiting Tirana for the first time you need to know that the hotel is quite on the outskirts, and despite the fact there seem to be many hotels around, it does take 20-40min to get to the city centre. Room let down a bit by minor things - missing plug in basin, missing handle on shower door but fine for one night.
