Rogner Tirana has a very good location, close to the city center and main attractions, which is definitely a strong point. However, the service was not satisfying and did not meet expectations for a hotel of this level. Overall, the stay was average mainly due to the location, but the service could be improved significantly.

I recently stayed at this hotel for 7 nights. The room was great, the staff are all friendly and breakfast has a lot of choice. The room faces a main road which is very loud, which is something to consider if you're a light sleeper but I managed fine. Fantastic location. Wonderful staff. Everything about it is great - but at the moment they are being upgraded. It wouldn't stop me from staying there but it was irritating to have scaffolding being clunked around at 0800 when I am looking for a break. So. Great hotel with wonderful staff. Building is under construction, involving the problems

The staff were excellent, the food at breakfast and in the restaurant was very good. However, the building work around the hotel made relaxing at the pool and on the terrace impossible. The hotel, or *******, should advise guests, before they book that the disruption is intrusive and makes the pool area unsafe (by UK standards).

The hotel is now in construction procedure, so it wasn’t quite, and workers were close to the room windows and could see everything inside

The room is clean and tidy and the service attitude is good. If you save English when traveling, it can help the front desk staff to confirm the check-in information more quickly. Overall it is a good experience. The front desk bar is also very good.

The air conditioning did not work well, the heat in the room was horrible. We told reception that a supposed technician was coming but he never came.

The room was not necessarily what you would expect from a 4* hotel (damaged and stained walls) but did the job perfectly for one night, and allows quick access to the city center (7-10min walk)

This hotel is brand new. The staff is friendly and attentive. The manager (Rosa) is always ready to help at any time. The rooms are very comfortable and the breakfast is in line with 4-star standards. It's truly worth it. As for the food, it's so delicious!!! Triple said it. The chefs here are professional. Once a customer, always a customer!!!

The location is great, right in the city center. However, this 4-star hotel definitely doesn't live up to its rating! The breakfast was exactly the same every single day of our 10-day stay – absolutely nothing changed, no variety whatsoever! They seriously need to consider diversifying their breakfast offerings!

The hotel boasts an excellent location, right next to Skanderbeg Square, with views of the square. However, the room was quite small. The bathroom featured a shower-over-bath setup, but the tub itself was very narrow, making showering uncomfortable. Amenities like bathrobes and tea bags were also missing.

Doro City hotel is an old fashioned hotel with few amenities. We were a group staying at the hotel. We spent little time actually in the hotel so it was ok. One tiny elevator serving all the guests. I would have preferred a hotel with a kettle and waste basket in the room. Also shower gel in the bathroom.

As we used this hotel for one night only prior to our flight from Tirana to the UK, it was ok. A very small breakfast area for a rather large hotel with rooms over 4 floors, caused a bit of a bottle neck, but the staff did their best making people feel comfortable. The hotel was in a nice area just a short walk from the lake. Plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby and only about 30 minutes walk from Skanderbeg Square. This hotel is nestled near a highway where traffic is a problem... relatively noisy all night despite the windows being closed... dilapidated room but great bedding! The property location is centrally situated. The rooms are a little on the small side. Biggest drawback was the pervasive and persistent cigarette smoke and cigar smoke smell, both exterior with the entrance/outside cafe area, the lobby, the bar, the elevator and hallways, and rooms. This singular smell issue will prevent us from choosing this location in the future.

It is customary in Albania to smoke in every corner. In the hotel smoking from the lobby floor goes up to the rooms and it's just unbearable. It's hard to breathe. The clothes stinked, even in the room.
