An unacceptable answer to us because we booked the room two months in advance!!! And not on days close to check-in and therefore they could have reserved a front room for us in advance!!! The switch between the hand shower and the bucket faucet in the bathtub was broken

Good hotel, excellent location, good service, polite reception staff and maintenance man but: We were given a room facing an inner courtyard with scaffolding and construction dust and therefore also a sealed window with the inability to open for ventilation

In short, discomfort in use and also irritation/roughness of the fingers when pulling an exposed screw - I got the impression that the problem is not new and the hotel simply ignores it instead of fixing it

The maintenance man "taught us" to first open a weak stream and then pull the exposed switch screw with our fingers so that water would flow slowly through the faucet and only then increase the stream

We asked to move to a front room and were told that everything was taken and there was no room available at the front

The lobby is well maintained, the room was clean, spacious and we had a nice view over the square

Pro: Very very comfortable hotel, decent breakfast, nice backyard, nice waiters, good location, pool. Con: gym should be bigger/better.

Perfect walking distance to the center. Also the breakfast was perfect. The garden area is nice to walk around. Also as a female solo traveler I felt completely safe here. No issues walking around town either

The staff were welcoming and helpful, the hotel iteself was gorgeous, the room was pheoimenal (the in-room sauna and soaking tub were miraculous) and the spa and restaurants were spectacular!

Buses from the hotel to the city centre is just 4 minutes away We went to Albania to celebrate my hubby's birthday. I ordered for a cake with the intention to pay for it, and we got a cake to feed 6-8 people for free

Everything about it is great - but at the moment they are being upgraded. It wouldn't stop me from staying there but it was irritating to have scaffolding being clunked around at 0800 when I am looking for a break

Lawrence and Belsie the receptionists were very helpful during check in. There is a marvellous park with a massive lake behind the hotel. To conclude, Mak hotel is the perfect place to stay if you visit Tirana

My husband and myself loved our 5 days stay and will visit again. My only concern is staffs at the entrance not welcoming, you have to greet them, they never say hello when you leave or enter the hotel

We thought it was close to the bus terminal which is why we book the stay here, yet there is no way to walk to/from the bus terminal to reach this hotel as there is a highway to cross

Room are dark even all lights on. No road to the bus station and the mall. Only you can walk on the highway. But we could manage it

The hotel itself was a lovely design, the rooms were clean and spacious with a nice balcony. I didn't really get to sample the breakfasts as I was up early for trips but overall the stay in the hotel was enjoyable

Everyone was very attentive,friendly and just lovely ,lovely people. they got my room ready early,gave me a free coffee and all were there ready to look after you.

The hotel is very good, the sheets and towels are clean, there is shampoo and soap, no slippers and toothbrushes. The staff cleans the room and changes the sheets every day

This hotel is small but it is very nice. My room was newly refurbished and felt very contemporary. The hotel sits above a coffee shop (which is actually connected to the hotel), so there is fresh expresso at 6:30 AM

Great hotel 15 minutes away from Tirana downtown. Please be aware there is no elevator and no breakfast is included. Another tip: never take a taxi in Tirana, as they will skin you alive. Take public transport.

There was also a desk with two stools and adequate storage space for clothing. The bathroom consisted of a large walk-in shower, toilet and sink. The tap was loose and needed tightening, but the room was otherwise good

Check in was very easy and quick, with a warm welcome. All staff members were very nice and spoke English. The neighbourhood was pleasant, with some traffic noise, but no more than would be expected

Absolutely amazing stay with good food and the room service people are amazing they do the cleaning everyday and make sure to give you new towels and toilet rolls as well

We are a family of five and found the classic suite and a two twin bed room very comfortable. Beds were comfy, the rooms large and the outdoor pool was wonderful

The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the fries arrived late, cold, and half-cooked, which was a bit disappointing. Still, the rest of the meal made up for it, and I’ll gladly come back anytime

The hotel is extremely clean, and the rooms are very nice we tried 2 different rooms, 1 premium and 1 junior suite with lake view, booth are very nice and the beds and pillows are fantastic quality, you have all comfortable amenities in the room like shaving set, toothbrush, shoeshine, nice shampoo , conditioner, bathrobe and slippers

I had a lovely breakfast and a wonderful soul Adriana took care of me. She was my first interaction in the hotel and town she is such a comforting warm person. Am grateful to have my first morning chat with her

We stayed here for one night before our flight. The hotel is convenient for this purpose: you can stroll into the large park and spend a few hours there. And the breakfast in the morning was fantastic

The only thing I didn't like was the tiny rooms. How Radisson allowed this for the price is beyond me. Sometimes, you literally can't move around in them

Hotel and staff are very nice. AC was switched to heating a week before arrival which we didn’t know. It was a bit warm in the room but once we opened the balcony door and kept it open throughout he night it felt cool.

But my entire stay from that day onwards was so wonderful. However, the bathroom supplies were not as written and were missing. For example, it was written as there is a toothpaste. I did not buy toothpaste accordingly

The National Museum, Opera House and Airport Bus Stop are 10-15 minutes walking distance. The breakfast is rich and healthy. The only drawback is that the food waste of the guests is beyond imagination

It is recommended that the hotel strengthen management and place warning signs on each table to remind guests to be self-disciplined and save food

Very nice hotel with free airport pick up/drop off which is a real plus as airport taxis try to charge you €20 for a 2km drive, plus hotel has deal for €12 (1200lek)for taxi into Tirana (17km) so well worth using this service if going into the city,Elvis on reception was a great help and suggested good places to visit

Having worked in the hospitality industry for 6 years I was immensely impressed by the professionalism and upgrade they offered me. I wish I had a chance to stay with them longer. 10/10 would recommend, well worth it!

Although this hotel has free-shuttle service from/to Tirana Airport, I didn't know how to order this service, so I took a taxi from airport:( However, the next day I could get to the airport by this service

The hotel is located about 20 min walk from the city centre. Lot of shops in the neighbourhood. But also a very busy street just outside of the hotel. Not attentive at all, and sometimes directly rude

I stayed here for 5 nights and I highly recommend this hotel. Nice atmosphere with a beautiful rooftop terrace restaurant and a swimming pool. The terrace restaurant's food and desserts are top-notch

We also enjoyed the rooftop bar on both nights and the pool. The breakfast was good quality. Within walking distance to some nice cafes and restaurants. We walked to the main square in 30 mins

There was a small, simple pool on the fifth floor, and the hotel was tastefully decorated. It's about a 15-minute walk to the square, and there's a large supermarket nearby

Sauna very hot (good) though exit is a metal handle which gets extremely hot, steam room doesnt generate any steam, pool is large but very strong smell of chlorine, jacuzzi doesnt work and no on or off button

I was impressed by the elevator for the car to the parking lot on the minus 2nd floor, stylish rooms

Drainage smell from toilet so have to keep door closed at all times. Also, you can very thinly see outside through the shower and bedroom blinds as the corner is a blind spot, but only a small one

A couple of things to mention: • we did have a regular smell of drainage in our room which wasn’t pleasant • there was supposed to be a rooftop / top floor bar but it was closed the whole time we were there so you could only have drinks in the lobby • breakfast was quite nice, plenty choice at the buffet • spa was decent - we didn’t get treatments but did spend a couple of hours by the pool •...

It was disappointing because the room was nice and the spa and pool was very good, but sleep is the priority

Just spent last five days here and really can not recommend enough. The spa area is lovely , could do with staff always there but Genta welcomed us, showers us everything and was very kind

I loved the beautiful natural forest. The bed was very clean. The balcony overlooks the city and is in a quiet location. The pool and food were also very good. Thank you very much 😍

It is customary in Albania to smoke in every corner. In the hotel smoking from the lobby floor goes up to the rooms and it's just unbearable. It's hard to breathe. The clothes stinked, even in the room.

There was a kettle, etc, for hot drinks, but only tea? There was a bit of a glitch when we went to book in; our rooms were not ready, and I felt that the receptionist wasn't very engaging

The location is really great for everything - but noisy from construktionwork right outside and the music from the restaurants, so remember earplugs. Our room was nice and very clean

The smoke from the smoking in the bar and in the restaurant in the evening (owner??) was so heavy - we could smell it on the 4. It is not okay, when we have a non-smoking room

She told us it would be about 10 - 15 mins, 1 hour later, we were still waiting with no real apology. Although I will say that she apologised at checkout then

They gave us many great insider tips about where to eat, which made our stay even more special

The curtains block out any lights. The towels and sheets smell so good. They were Egyptian cotton, so soft. They offered drinks at a low cost. Cold beer! There isn’t an elevator but that’s common is these parts!

The AC unit in the room was my best friend on that trip, it cooled the room down in mere minutes The cleaners kept our room spotless when we wanted it cleaned - big thanks to them as we had been quite messy after a night out! The only issue was when my fiancée booked the room he had paid extra for a golf course view - there is no golf course anywhere nearby! But we didnt mind as the place was lovely...

Overall a lovely little place to stay in Tirana, the staff were friendly and always happy to help, the hotel had incredible wifi in the room and a tv with youtube and netflix downloaded, great for entertaining ourselves when it was too hot to go outside

It was also only a short 5-10 minute walk to a busy strip in Tirana, teaming with restaurants, cafés, bars, ATMs and currency exchangers, and mini supermarkets - everything you need while you're there

It was a clean hotel with wonderful staff. We had a junior suite and it was vey large with a wrap around balcony. We were only 5 minutes away from a coffee shop. The staff gave good recommendations for places to eat
