Porto Eda Hotel in Sarande

Not worth the price. Room cleanliness needs improvement, no soap in the bathroom, and the blanket was old and had a bad smell. Wi-Fi was unstable, and the room was very noisy at night — no soundproofing at all. They only accept cash, no card payment. No complimentary water, and no telephone in the room to contact reception. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend it. You can definitely find better options for the same rate.

To be honest we have to list advantages and disadvantages of the place.
Disadvantages:
- Really noisy during the night (had to sleep with stoppers in my ears)
- Spend here 2 nights in room 207, Toilet wasn’t flushing at all (!!!). I’ve complaint about it to the reception. They promised to fix it, but they didn’t. I’ve heard from 1 person of Hotel stuff that this case repeats constantly and this person doesn’t understood why Technical people won’t fix PROPERLY the issue with Toilet
- Trying to reach Manager of the Hotel to figure out what to do with situation above, but he didn’t care. I was calling many times, he didn’t reply or call back. Trying to reach him in the Hotel, he was always somewhere (for example eating on the other side of the street). Reception told us that Manager will contact us, but he didn’t.
- It was inconvenient to translate everything to Albanian to Reception. Only 1 person understood English, but he wasn’t always there (normal thing - job like every other)

Advantages:
- Parking spot,
- Breakfast on the Rooftop with a seaview,
- Really close (like 10/20 meters) to the main promenade

I stayed at Porto Eda Hotel in Saranda and was very disappointed. For the price (90€ per night with breakfast), it is extremely poor value. They don’t accept card payments, which is very inconvenient for international travelers. The room was old and lacked basic amenities — no shampoo, soap, or even handwash provided. The Wi-Fi in the room was weak and kept cutting out.

While the location is central, it comes with a downside: the area is extremely noisy and the windows are so thin that it’s almost impossible to get a good night’s sleep.

Overall, I would not recommend this hotel. For the same price, there are much nicer and more comfortable options in Saranda.

Great location, lovely balcony and roof top terrace. WiFi worked great and breakfast on rooftop great. Parking easy if prebooked.

However. It's quite dated, paint falling off ceiling. Elevator is unpredictable and if unlucky you end up in closed off basement, where if even more u lucky you wake one of the sleeping staff.

Cleaning lady left her phone in our room twice (!!), second time entered without knocking to get it, unfortunately timed with my teenage daughter coming out of the shower!

Rooftop terrace amazing, but one of the nights we went up it was closed for private event, which was never communicated to us. How about a sign by elevator? VERY loud music playing from there all night, and they shot off fireworks 3 times during the night.

Because of the central location it is some noise from the surrounding area, which wasn't an issue to us. Just bring earplugs :)

Breakfast served between 8-10, but dont be too early or it's not gonna be all there. No scissors to borrow if u need to cut of tags (what?), just overall feeling that they dont really care that much, and just want to get your money for the location.
