Probably the best hotel of Gyumri city but pricy.

Great example of traditional Gyumri architecture, and the rooms are furbished with interesting things too. The location is great too, right in the old city and within walking distance of all the interesting things

It's run by an Italian man who came to help after the 1988 earthquake and ended up staying, he purchased the buildings, restored them and the inner courtyard, and turned them into Villa Kars

It's beautiful authentic hotel with unique atmosphere., located walki g distance from historical downtown. The breakfast was delicious. Our room was comfortable and cozy.

Very clean!!! Both the grounds and the rooms! The furniture is beautiful and comfortable! The showers are spacious!!! You don't have to huddle together, clinging to the walls of the stall with your elbows, like in some hotels 😏 The water pressure is good!!! Both hot and cold! There's plenty of furniture to spread out your personal belongings

This place is super, it's more like a five-star place. Excellent service, a kind-hearted owner, and helpful staff. I recommend this place to everyone. You won't regret it, you'll be satisfied.

The windows have good curtains; if you're bothered by sunlight, you can close them; they're thick enough! The bedding is white and clean

🐕 Yes, there are dogs, but they're completely harmless, and their presence speaks volumes about the hotel owner's humaneness. There are plenty of trees on the grounds, so even when it's hot, you can find shade

The views from the hotel are stunning!!! And at the same time, all the shops are just 300 meters away on foot. The hotel staff is polite, attentive, and well-mannered

They were passing through to Gyumri, staying at Vale Hotel. I met a transfer at the airport. They brought to the hotel, settled in a spacious, comfortable room. Special thanks to the host, arranged transport to Tbilisi

Not a tourist town, but a brand new hotel with friendly staff. Far from the center, but great to spend a night if you are passing through Gyumri.

We asked specifically for two separate beds, yet when we entered the room, we had to call them back and ask them to prepare two separate beds which was done in front of us, waiting to just have a rest

Breakfast was nice except for the employees fighting with each other just outside the dining room. Overall, below average, needs maintenance and cleaning

Walking distance from the places you'd like to visit in Gyumri, yet secluded and peaceful. 30-35 minutes walk (~ 15 min ride) from the train station which is the best means to travel from Yerevan to Gyumri

Amazing place to stay in Gyumri. We were a group of 6 - 3 families and the place was ideal. Clean, freshly rennovated, hosts are super friendly - there were snacks in the fridge, cozy yard and a secure space to park

There was a shelf of the liquor to buy, along with honey and jams. We stayed in the larger of the 3 available options and it was so cosy and homey. The apartment is a short walk away (5 mins) from the town

Armine, the wonderful hostess, greeted us with sweets and coffee and made our stay unforgettable with her hospitality. The modern design with tasteful decor made it feel like a boutique experience

At night I found it a little cold (there were x2 electric heaters but I wish the main heating could have been on the whole entire night, not just periodically). Parking wasn’t an issue whatsoever

Old Friend Guesthouse is located in an alley behind Rajkov Street. Even with Google Maps, it's difficult to find because there's no sign. The guesthouse is clean. The photo shows the entrance to the guesthouse.

We really enjoyed the beautifully furnished rooms, the view from the balconies, the great breakfast and the excellent service and are happy to recommend the hotel

The staff is very friendly and positive, the breakfast in the restaurant is very tasty, just like my grandmother cooked for me with love. They also have a children's room which is free for their guests

But the the bed has watched generations of people growing in size and weight. Even if the room price is fair and the breakfast was very good, but the bed is infeasible. The good old days seem to be over

Place is hard to find. The B&B is good with nice rooms. The breakfast and diner are generous and therefore far too much and therefore too expensive.

But our present impression was not so good compared to the older comments here. Service was average, room in the little house in the garden was fine

On a snowy night - after crossing the Transcaucasus Mountains and passing through four customs in the Three Kingdoms for hundreds of kilometers, it was already past 2 o'clock in the morning when we arrived, and the landlord still got up to open the door

Wonderful garden and very hospitable staff. In the rooms there is a shower, hot water, slippers, hair dryer, towel, shampoo, soap, and most importantly everything is clean. It is 5-7 minutes from the center by taxi

The garden is nice and quiet, you can also have your breakfast here and enjoy the peace, niece view and weather. Price is affordable and it's 3km away from city center, where you can reach easily by taxi
