Rydges World Square in Sydney

We recently stayed at Rydges World Square and overall had a lovely experience. The room was big and very comfortable, which made our stay really enjoyable. My daughters absolutely loved it, especially having plenty of space to relax.
What I appreciated most was the separate room setup for parents and children — it gave us privacy while still being together as a family. That layout made a big difference and made the stay feel even more comfortable and convenient.

However, the car park was quite difficult to find. We had to drive down many levels, and it was confusing as there were different hotels sharing the area.Clearer signage or directions would really help future guests.

The only other disappointment was the pricing. We booked the room for $584, but later noticed the price had dropped to $510. It would have been great to receive the lower rate.

Aside from these issues, we truly enjoyed our stay and would consider coming back again.

Great breakfast, nice hotel

The hotel service was excellent, very warm and welcoming, with a fantastic attitude. The hygiene was top-notch, and the location was super convenient for getting around. There's even a supermarket downstairs, which was great for buying things. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay.

Very near shopping center and china town

The hotel is a bit old, but the hygiene is excellent, and the room was very clean. The main thing is its fantastic location right in the CBD, close to everything. Many popular attractions are within walking distance. Plus, there's a Coles supermarket and lots of trendy restaurants right downstairs. Highly recommend! 👍

The location is excellent, very close to attractions like Chinatown, Hyde Park, and St. Mary's Cathedral. There's a shopping mall right downstairs with plenty of restaurants, bubble tea shops, and bars, making it super convenient for dining and shopping. The front desk staff were very nice, and the restaurant environment was also good. All in all, the kids said this was the best hotel we stayed at during our Australia trip, even though it wasn't the newest!

I hosted a seminar in the Brickfield Room at Rydges Hotel World Square on Saturday, 8 November 2025, and the service we received was exceptional.

A special thank you to Herman, who went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. He pre-arranged and tested all the equipment—including the speakers, projector, and other facilities—before my arrival. When I walked in, everything was set up perfectly and working flawlessly. He even provided a remote controller with a red-spot laser function, which made delivering my 3-hour presentation so much easier and more professional.

Throughout the entire 4+ hours, Herman checked in regularly to see if we needed any assistance and managed the timing of our dinner service perfectly, bringing out the dishes right as all guests were seated.

I would also like to sincerely thank Natasha and Zel for their proactive planning and excellent coordination. They gathered our requirements early and arranged everything beautifully, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free.

I highly recommend Rydges Hotel World Square for business conferences, seminars, and corporate events. The team’s professionalism, attention to detail, and warm hospitality truly made our event a success.
