Located in Darling Harbour with a great sea view, this hotel is super convenient, just a short walk to the CBD. However, the steak at the restaurant was just okay.

We loved our stay at Hyatt Regency. The location is very convenient and walkable, especially when traveling with kids. We were able to easily walk to Barangaroo, SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium, and WILD LIFE Zoo, which made our trip very relaxed and enjoyable.

The room is on the smaller side but comfortable, clean, and felt very safe and secure for our family. It’s also close to shopping areas and nearby parks, which our kids really enjoyed.

Our only small concern is that the breakfast selection was almost the same each day, but the food quality was good overall.

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Darling Harbour. The rooftop bar offers great views. Breakfast was just okay, mostly Western options. The room was a bit small. The front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Revisiting after 15 years, I stayed at this hotel before. The location is excellent, making it super convenient to get around. A special shout-out to the Indian gentleman at the front desk who helped me switch to a 14th-floor sea-view room – I was absolutely thrilled! I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time. I just love Sydney; it was a very enjoyable Christmas trip.

Overall, quite satisfied.

The facilities, decor, and location are all excellent. The back exit leads directly to Darling Harbour, and the hotel bar offers beautiful views. The front desk staff were also very enthusiastic. The only minor drawback was that the cleaning was a bit careless; there was still an eyelid tape left by the previous guest on the bathroom wall.

Loved my stay, very friendly staff and great breakfast buffet. Centrally located.
It’s a shame there’s no pool.

Lovely balcony facing Darling harbour. Magnificent views of city light at night. Public car park at Wilson, opposite the hotel, at a discounted flat rate for guess.

The location is fantastic, located by the Darling Harbour, you can reach the Aquarium and Darling Harbour within 3-5 minutes. You can also access Sydney CBD (QVB etc.) easily.

For the staff, they are super friendly and helpful.
Despite I didn't request a daily room cleaning service, they tidied my room every day. If you don't want to have such service, you can definitely require not to too.

The view of my room is amazing, you can enjoy the view of Darling Harbour. And one more thing which I found quite important is that the room has a perfect soundproof. Since it's winter in August, it's quite cold in Sydney. The lobby has very warm temperature and cozy vibe. However, the room's air conditioning didn't provide a warm temperature that I satisfied, the room temperature remains between 18-20 °C during our stay, it would be perfect if it's like 23-25 °C. And this was the only down side I can think of, other than that, I had a perfect stay!

Attentive staff. Good food. Reasonably priced. Go for the tenderloin steak. Pepper sauce was cooked with green peppercorns! Wonderful.

Work function, and we had some colleagues who didn't come so I tried their allocated food as well. This review is mostly based on the visit for the function, which is likely quite different experience for a normal visit would be.

Steak was great, but too much mash potato and some accompanying sauce would have been good. Salmon was tasty. Service level wasn't fantastic though, although I noticed that about 2-3 work Chrissy functions were in there at the same time and the staff weren't a bit stretched.
The chocolate dessert I think should have been warmed, but was cold. It would have been a bit better with some sauce inside it like the chocolate volcano style desserts I've had elsewhere as it felt it was missing something.
The second choice creme caramel dessert was nicer, but a bit too much sugar.
Allocating 4 stars because I've had good meals in the other restaurants in the Nick's chain and expect this would be substantially better experience if I'd been visiting normally with my wife.

We visited last week, just as walk ins. We both had the tenderloin with a shared starter of garlic prawns. Absolutely fabulous. So good in fact we made a further visit (not always a good thing ) but everything was to the same excellent high standards. Next time in Sydney.......its on our list

I ordered sirloin medium rare. It was good and chewy although I felt that it tasted a little closer to medium at some points but still good. My friend and I also ordered a half rack pork rib which was good. I particularly loved the chips!

Initially we found the prices very high but we're excited to have a steak that we thought would be cooked well, being a steakhouse. We were a table of 4 and of the 3 steak orders none were cooked correctly. My husband ordered a blue steak but his was med rare, the replacement was cooked perfectly. The other two steak orders we ate, but weren't to our order. Staff were unattentive, had to remind them to bring a beer that was ordered half an hour before and a few reminders to bring water. Wouldn't return as we get a better cooked meal at our local pub for a third the price and comes with salad.

Came here on my own, somewhere nice on the Harbour to take in and enjoy the scenery. Food was okay. Not the best but was alright. Food is reasonably priced for its location. The rotisserie menu looks good but didn't opt for it on this occasion.

Brought the family here since I’ve had nice breakfast in the past. The Sunday surcharge is a turn off but thought we’d give it a go. Our waitress was very good but was always hard to find. The hosting staff were the worst telling me to wait for the waitress when we wanted to order an extra drink. Well you work here go ask the waitress yourself. Food was at or below average for the price paid. Over priced pub food. Not worth it.
03.12.2017 Dasha
Went out for a simple Sunday lunch, and food was decent for the price. However when we asked for the bill, we got the wrong one, for the table next to us. Which is fine, we just asked them to get us the right one. But when they gave us our one, they tacked on an extra 28% to the bill as a “Sunday surcharge” which the other receipt for the couple next to us didn’t have. Ruined the whole experience, as we felt like we were targeted. Never going back there, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Had lunch at Adria on a Sunday , was SENSATIONAL. We were given a Red Balloon voucher for a Mediterranean experience.
I had some reservations about going to Adria after reading some reviews. Our experience was certainly memorable from our welcome at the entry to leaving. The food quality & taste was sensational as too the portions were more than generous for two people. The rotisserie lamb & beef were perfectly seasoned , tasty melt in your mouth stuff. I was concerned about having a set menu but honestly couldn't have ordered better.
The service by no means silver service as this is a relaxed casual dining restaurant & bar was impeccable! We did not need to ask for any extras as they included a full variety of sauces with the meal. Wait staff noticed when drinks were low & asked if we wanted more which were served promptly.
I really can't speak highly enough about our lunchtime experience at Adria.

Place is stupid. One drink per person when the bar is 8 deep is an irresponsible service of alcohol. Don't book your party here.

From all everything looks charm full and gorgeous. The view nearby the restaurant is really nice. The food is really tasty. You can come here with family, friends and your boyfriend/girlfriend.

Very lovely staff, very friendly and attentive. We had the Nick's Seafood platter for two along with the Tasmanian lobster chilli pasta and the Alaskan crab salad. Perfect amount for 3 people. We only went as we had vouchers received as gifts but wouldn't say no to going again.
03.12.2017 Nix
I am a regular at Nicks Seafood. I usually get the $180 seafood platter for 2 with my husband. It's the one that also comes with lobster. Never disappointed. Everything on the platter is cooked perfectly. The staff are pretty good. One slight annoyance not worth losing a star over is they didn't bring a glass for my son who is 5 but did so for the 4 others at the table- is my son not a person? Lol. Other than that have never have had a bad experience. I know I will get good food here.
30.11.2017 Melvin
We ordered lobaster meat pasta, cold seafood platter and the fillet steak and grilled prawns. The food was way below the standard for the price. The pasta was greasy and bland with no taste. The steak had no flavour, I could get better steak at a local pub. The grilled prawns were good.

The service was not too bad but the staff are inexpereinced. The waitress hit my head with the plates. Also the cashier ask me the table number when I try to pay, when I said i don't know she ask me to go check.

Do not be fooled with the location and the pricey menu.
26.11.2017 Harrison
Went for lunch.
Amazed at how many waiters are on, yet don’t understand the concept of approaching a table even when you have your hand raised.
Meals were less than average. Batter on our fish was soggy and undercooked yet fish was dry and over cooked?
Don’t even get me started on the cocktail my partner ordered...
Waiter helped us finish our wonderful experience by dropping a knife on my partners lap and then taking 15 minutes to bring the bill to the table.
I understand the atmospheric, busy, trendy yet slightly tacky feeling of the restaurant.
But I’ve had better fish and chips at my local pub which is ran by derolicts.
