De Ville Apartments in Gold Coast

Disappointing experience, we went in with average expectations given it is a surf club however we did hope the meals ordered together would arrive somewhat together, 2 people did not get their meals until everyone else had finished eating, when questioned staff were non committal, food standard was typical slightly overpriced pub food but despite that my low rating is not for the food but for the BIRDS, they were everywhere inside along with evidence (poop and feathers) of where they had been, this includes frequently landing on the ledge ABOVE our table. While I understand it's hard to keep the birds out from a surf club with all windows open, I would suggest they put in some kind of bird deterrent to stop them landing on every surface above table height where they can drop poop on people's food and eating places. Unfortunately I won't be going back ?
