Great atmosphere. Food was absolutely beautiful. The best Soft Shell Crab ever. Very efficient, friendly staff.

Had an amazing meal at Sage! The restaurant was accommodating for a large group and the wait staff checked on us regularly. Well priced, delicious meals.

Most mornings breakfast at this cafe. Coffee is nice and aromatic. The $10 breakfast special which is a smaller version of the Sage Big Breakfast $19 is very tasty and comes with sourdough bread... yum. Sage becomes a Restaurant and Bar for dinner and cocktails. Offering 30% off early bird dinner between 5-6pm and a gorgeous Sea and Land Platter for 2 at $79. Bargain!!!
The French waitress is lovely and responsive. Overall good atmosphere and music in the evening. I will recommend and I will return.

To be honest was a bit worried after ready some of the negative reviews but when we arrived Rebecca our waitress was so helpful with suggestions for table of 6.
The seafood platters were awesome except for some balmain bugs but were replaced with more. We ordered before 6:00pm so we received a good discount. We as a family highly recommend this restaurant. Some people need to just chill and enjoy the surrounding environment .

I went to Yellowfin for a late lunch in June, and was pleased to see that I could take advantage of their early dining discount to make otherwise-very-high-priced food into normally priced food. It was winter and due to my work taking me outside in the 9C degree weather at night, I was in the mood for something to warm me up, and chose the bouillabaisse. Yum! I really enjoyed it and hope to have it again on a future trip to the Gold Coast.

Those concerned about the pricing, please understand that this place is one of the nearest restaurants to the convention centre. When a convention wraps up for the day, everyone heads out for dinner, and many convention-goers are on expense accounts. They eat during the high priced period, and the restaurant gets the benefit of corporate $$ into their till. If you're a local or a tourist, you can eat during the lower priced periods, and get (IMHO) a quite decent deal on quality food.

It sounds like recently the cooking or seafood sourcing has gone downhill, because I had NOTHING to complain about in June. At mid-afternoon, I was stunned that there were only 3 tables of diners. (Then again, June is probably not a month that the area gets many tourists.)
