Quality Hotel Melbourne Airport in Melbourne

Close to the airport with shuttle service, everything else was just okay. The shuttle driver was really good, very accommodating. We arrived too late, so for safety, we decided to stay near the airport. It's a decent option if you're looking for a layover hotel.

I recently stayed at Quality Hotel Melbourne Airport and wanted to share my experience for anyone travelling in or out of Melbourne. We have stayed here a number of times, the first time was because we had flight delays and didn't want to head home to return the following day. It made sense and ever since then we have used it as our little night before we go on the next adventure stop over. So if you are like me, and you’re looking for something close, easy, and stress-free before a flight… this place really delivers. The location is incredibly convenient, just minutes from the airport, and the shuttle service makes everything feel seamless especially when you’re travelling early morning or arriving late. That alone takes so much pressure off. And if you are like me and need to have a change of suit case for clothing it makes a great base between flights and countries.
The rooms are simple, clean, and comfortable. Not overly luxurious, but they have everything you need for a short stay. It feels more like a practical stopover than a holiday destination and that’s exactly what it’s meant to be.
What I appreciated most was the ease of everything…
No overwhelm, no complications — just a place to land, reset, and move on with your journey. If I had to describe it energetically… it feels like a “pause point” between destinations.
A couple of things to note:
It’s more of a classic, older-style hotel, not modern luxury but its a great base and we leave our car there for convince. Dining options can be limited depending on timing, but we ate next door a Sheesh and plan to go there again. You may hear a little airport noise (as expected) But overall, for value, convenience, and simplicity, it does exactly what it promises. We will definitely stay again when I need a smooth airport stopover, like in September with a group of travelers heading on.a cruise. The place suits business, family, couples, solo and groups.

Decent and convenient hotel for short stay with comfortable rooms. Airport transfer is highly convenient especially for early morning flight.

I recently stayed at Quality Hotel Westmeadows for the second time and once again I wasn't disappointed.
The whole process was seamless, from choosing my standard of room to phoning them on my arrival at Melbourne airport and phoning for their complementary shuttle bus service
I had a 10 minute wait for the nice shuttle bus driver and when you arrive at reception after a 5 minute trip you are greeted by the most friendly team.
My room poolside was absolutely spotless and had everything I needed for the night. It was also very quiet despite being close to a busy road.
I had buffet breakfast which had a good selection plus surprisingly good coffee from a little machine.
I had a very pleasant chat with the lovely lady who runs the buffet.
Just a quick 5 minute walk up the road are a few good eateries and a little further along a couple of fast food places. I really can't fault the place or the staff and confidently recommend it to anyone wanting the convenience of a place to stay close to the airport at a good price.

This was the only hotel during my 15-day trip in Australia that didn't give me a room at the very end of the hall and didn't secretly downgrade my room type. All the staff were wonderful. There was an elderly white gentleman, I think his name was John, who drove me to the subway station. He was worried I'd take the wrong train back, so he even wrote down directions for two bus routes I could take and showed me where the bus stop was. Everything was perfect.

Ten minutes to the airport, the shuttle bus is super convenient, making it a perfect choice for early morning flights. The front desk staff spoke professional Chinese, which made me feel right at home. The room wasn't large but it was very clean, and they even provided thoughtful little snacks.

Very good hotel , very convenient if you next day leave Melbourne, clean hotel, good breakfast, staff was very good!

Excellent! They even offer airport shuttle service! All the staff are very friendly and enthusiastic. Even though our English isn't great, the front desk managed to understand us perfectly and sent a car to pick us up from the airport! We'd love to come back again!
