The room was dated and needs updating, the bed was uncomfortable and kept separating which was really frustrating as we booked a king bed for a reason and had 2 nights booked. We called reception to see if we could change rooms but was advised that all the rooms have a split bed. They need to make it so it doesn't separate.
I've stayed in other hotels in perth and some that have been a lower stars but have had better beds. I wiill not be returning here again.

Very nice hotel, big rooms, great front bar. Close walking distance to the Hay Street Mall. Good cafes close by with a great burger joint just up the road on the forecourt of the Great Western Hotel.

Comfortable beds, clean linen and overall a quiet hotel experience. Will definitely stay here again.

The checkin was fast and smooth though very casual not professional in demeanour. The room was ok nothing fancy. Loved the location close to shops and plenty of restaurants around. The parking was not free cost $35 and was not available. I believe that if you are a guest the hotel shouldn’t make money for parking. I parked somewhere else.

Excellent as usual, although the restaurant wasn't open on the Easter Sunday

The location is quite excellent. There's a 'cat bus' stop right outside the hotel, making it super convenient to get to nearby attractions. It's located in the CBD, so shopping and dining options are plentiful. The hotel itself is also very comfortable. All in all, pretty good!

This is an older hotel with no on-site parking, and parking nearby is quite expensive, although it's free overnight. The hotel facilities are very old, and there's basically no service. However, it's located in the city center, which is convenient for walking around. I don't recommend it; the value for money is just too low.

A very dated room and bathroom facilities were very poor and unclean.
Front desk service on check in was borderline unprofessional
For a first time client you might expect a better outlook than directly into the building behind it
Won’t be rushing back to stay there agan

The hotel's location is excellent, and the building directly opposite is very beautiful. The hotel is generally clean, and the staff are friendly, though the room is a bit small.

location was good and easy to access amenities like food and snacks. also several nice attractions nearby.

The room itself was spacious and clean. However, I was quite surprised to find an opened milk carton in the fridge. The location was great, and it seemed like they offered a taxi service, which was a nice plus.

I love Subway in general, however this store provided the worst experience ever. A sprinkling of meat on the bread not even covering it. I asked if i could get some more, the girl asked the manager and said that would be an extra $3.30 at least. It was at that point that I pointed out there was barely any meat on it and then I was give 1 piece extra. I wanted it toasted, but they just put the salad on there and ushered me out the door like I was an inconvenience. Poor form from this store!!!!

Quirky service, I liked it, some may find it a bit in your face.

Probably the absolute worst restaurant myself and the other three people with me have ever been to. The night started with poor communication with the waiter/owner and a complete lack of comprehension of what celiac disease is (a simple wheat intolerance that every waiter/chef should be educated on whether they're 80 or 20) that left us trying to find our way through the lack of communication skills for 10 minutes to make sure that my friend spent her birthday being NOT sick. After we had ordered our mains in a confusingly bad conversation, me and my other friend went inside to clarify the celiac point to the owner/chef in a polite manner (who insisted that cream had wheat in it). This check resulted in the owner getting overly defensive about a simple question and telling us over and over that he had been in the restaurant business for 55 years, he wasnt stupid and somehow kept a frown on his face the whole time. Charming.

After an hour or so long wait our meals were served to us and it took a grand total of 10 seconds for my celiac friend to give a look after she tasted the meal that can only be described as downright discomfort and horror. In her own words, the dish was bland, had a nasty aftertaste and had near no meat in it. After another few minutes this became the general consensus around the table, but wasnt enough to make me stop eating my meal. However, the event that made me stop eating my porterhouse was when we watched a cockroach scurry out of the restaurant and past our table; that was when I decided the porterhouse wasnt worth it and promptly spat out the mouthful of steak I had into their "classy" choice of 8 dollar pot plants.

This was around about the point when we went inside and complained to the owner/chef and informed him that we would not be paying for the abysmal excuse of a meal that had been served. He then spent the next 20 minutes arguing over the quality, fighting and telling us how our meals tasted, going from being polite one minute to telling us we were the cruelest type of thieves on the planet for barely touching our meals and politely asking for a refund. During this period while I was with the owner and my best friend, one of the owner's friends (not even an employee) approached my celiac friend and threatened her saying that they were going to hurt her and follow her to her house. Once I approached him and told him that he needed to leave, he even pulled the race card to try and insult me and intimidate us and insisted that he never even threatened my celiac friend (then promptly told me the Sicilian mafia were coming for me)

After we left, this restaurants stain on our night continued slightly longer. It turns out that even after explaining our celiac friend's allergy to the Chef/Owner he had not only proceeded to put flour in the sauce but while he had had his rant about being in the restaurant business earlier in the night, he had done so with a box of gluten free pasta in his hand that looked like it had been stuffed under a sink for a few years judging by the mould on it. This consequently gave a celiac an allergic reaction -AND- food poisoning on her birthday.

All in all, the restaurant was an abysmal experience with staff that if recognised me in the street would likely attack me like rabid dogs. The whole experience ended with our polite complaints being met with a go to hell as we walked out the door away from easily the worst restaurant in the entire Perth Metropolitan Area, if not the whole of WA.

No wonder the cockroach was leaving.
