Alpenroyal in Fiss

Good, classic Austrian food in a beautiful ambience

The Alpenroyal has an excellent location in Fiss. The cable cars can be easily reached in a few minutes without a major climb (not a matter of course in Fiss, because the place is steeply on the slope). At the same time, the Wolfsee is only a few minutes away and the entrance to a wonderful hike to the Wode Tower is practically on the doorstep.
The hotel itself is quite modern. The beds are comfortable, you have a great view from the balcony (room 404) and the WiFi is fast and stable. The restaurant on the ground floor is also great.
We felt in good hands here for 3 weeks and would recommend the hotel at any time. Only the kitchen equipment could be spiced up a bit. A couple of more good kitchen knives, a spatula and a couple of newer pans that don't stick everything hopelessly unless you pour 2 cm of oil into them would be really desirable. ;)

I would like to move in. It's so great!

This hotel has beautiful, spacious and clean rooms, and great service. There is also a lovely sauna in the building. The hotel is really close to the ski lifts so it is a perfect location for that. The view from the balcony is breathtaking. We will surely return!
