Hotel Alpenroyal in Fiss

A very good hotel with very friendly staff, an excellent spa to suit all tastes, the kitchen has everything you need with good crockery, our room had a gorgeous panoramic view, this hotel and its staff made our vacation simply wonderful! Thank you. 😊

Just back from our annual ski vacation and, as always, thrilled. We travel with four children, currently aged 6-12, and have been booking the same apartment for years.

The hotel is perfectly located if you're dropping the kids off at ski school in Bertaland – a short, steep climb of about 7 minutes without having to go via the ski lift. Life hack: you can rent ski lockers in the children's area, which makes the climb much easier.

The apartment's connection to the hotel is ideal for us. We can be self-sufficient – ​​but we don't have to be. The pool is usually pretty empty until about 5:00 pm; we were often alone, and regularly at least the first ones there when we arrived around 3:45 pm.

The service is unobtrusive, always quick and helpful with any questions – it's a family-run establishment. Every year we appreciate the successful balance between comfort and environmental awareness/sustainability. The apartment's furnishings are functional. The price-performance ratio is absolutely fine. I really can't understand the review I found above, especially given my own experience of skiing at an all-inclusive luxury resort.

In short: We'd love to come back again next year!

Very very good. Very clean and very functional room. The hotel is 10 minutes walk from the slopes (locker available so no stress). Covered parking available (be careful with large cars). The meals were very good. Very friendly staff. Beautiful place. Address to remember.

We stayed here for a few nights and we can highly recommend the hotel. The reception was quick and friendly. Every question was answered immediately. Top!!!! The rooms were very nicely furnished. Great view. The swimming pool and especially the sauna were great. We liked it a lot. We booked half board. The food was plentiful and very good. You can find everything at the breakfast buffet. All the staff are really helpful and very nice. We would love to come back. A recommendation in Fiss.

Great hotel...from checking in to breakfast and dinner everything was top notch. Very friendly reception and Moni and Zoltan were always in a good mood, even though they had a lot of work. The kitchen team was a dream...keep it up. We will definitely be back.

Spacious and clean apartments, very good location. Friendly staff. Our only minor remark is that the indoor swimming pool is a bit cold and that the opening times of the sauna were very limited (16-19). It would have been nice to use the sauna in the evening or earlier in the day.
