We really enjoyed our stay at Alpenhotel Erika. The room was clean and bathroom modern. There was a heated boot room and the steam room and sauna was a nice addition. Breakfast was a continental selection with hot eggs, bread, meat and cheese, cereals, fruit, and yogurt. It is possible to ski in and ski out to piste no.1 however it is quite steep to get up onto it. Once on, you ski down and then walk ~2-3min to A1 Silvrettabahn. Overall a nice, quiet hotel situated 10min walk away from the centre of the resort and I would recommend and stay again. Thank you

Very unfriendly hosts. It was not possible to leave our car in the hotel after checkout.

Our group of 7 people, arrived at Alpenhotel Erika in Ischgl on Sat 25 Feb. Checked in and found that the heated towel rack was not working. The following morning on our way to ski, I reported it to the owner, Patritzia who very reluctently said that she would take a look. We arrived back from the slopes at 17h30 upon which I realized that the rack was still not working. Once again I went to report the issue to Patritzia, who was having drinks with her friends at the bar. She was clearly irritated and called her husband Max, who is totally illiterate in English. He stormed up to our room, barged in without knocking, ( while my wife was getting dressed in the bathroom) mumbled something in German and then turned on the other boiler unit in the room and stormed out. I was still in the reception area when he returned and said that we are stupid seeing that we had not switched it on. The whole situation errupted into a nasty verbal argument. Whereafter they said we should check out if we were not happy. The next morning ( towel rack still not working) I went for breakfast when Max said that his wife Patritzia was ready to check us out. I went to her and explained that there was no other accommodation available and therefor we could not check out. The rest of the stay was a nightmare with bad attitudes and the inability to speak or understand English. We have been skiing in Austria for 15 years and this is by far the worst Hotel we have ever stayed in. They only cater for German and Austrian guests and connot converse in English. We will never go back!!!

Perfect location, Nice people, Ski slope 1 goes near so it's possible to ski to the hotel. 5 minute walk to city centre. Simple but clean rooms, Good bed, Warm shower, Very good and complete breakfast, Ski room with boot warmers, Fast response on questions. Very good quality for the price.

Lovely setting in the side of the Ischgl hills with easy access to the town and ski lifts.
Room was nice if not a little small but was cleaned and beds made daily which was a nice surprise.

Great hotel, one of the more decently priced options in Ischgl. Fantastic breakfast, small but super cozy rooms with amazing bathroom. Ski in / out possible (few places in Ischgl have that). Highly recommended!

Super nice hosts. Very informal, you can only feel good here. The hotel is right on the valley run and you can quickly get to the cable car. The rooms are very spacious and you have a great view over Ischgl!
The wellness area is highly recommended after a hard day's skiing. For us it was a perfect vacation. We will definitely come back again! 👍🏻☺️
