Went to the restaurant for lunch and ordered two bottles of water: one still en one sparkled. After they had brought them to our table, we decided we want both bottles still instead. So we asked the waiter to exchange one of the (unopened) bottles.
When the waiter would tell you this is not possible, you’d think he’s making a joke, right?
Well, he was not. We paid our bill, left and will never go there again.

Wifi sucks, doesn’t connect or constantly drops, if you count on it, bring your own alternative. Hotel food and location are good.

Hotel Wismeyer we visited for the very first time. We can only say everything positive. Starting from room sizes, which were comfortable and spacious enough, continuing with marvellous delicious kitchen (we had halb pension), and caring hotel personell. Thanks to the hotel management and team, if coming back to Obertauern again, this Hotel is again our choice♡

Superb location, right on the slope. Very comfortable dining area. Pretty good breakfast (if you come early enough). The staff is extremely friendly, always happy to help with a smile on their face. Apreski bar is also very comfortable and a nice place to unwind.
The hotel is very clean, your room will be amazingly clean each day, as well as the common room areas.

I didn’t stay at the hotel, so I can’t give my opinion on that. But the restaurant at the bottom was quite an adventure.
All staff are ok except for the two chunky men, one of which seems to be the head waiter. Both of them are always unhappy/grumpy and really tone things down. The food was ok, but I can’t reenforce this enough, the guy in photo with my is a real Richard if ya know what I mean.

When me and my Asian freind were getting served the waiter made rude racist gestures at him, making fun of his race. This disgusting behaviour Made me feel ill and shows the lack of care this inn has if it lets racist people wait.

Direkt neben der Liftanlage Edelweiß, ausreichende Essensauswahl zu Ski-typischen Preisen, die Käsespätzle waren so ziemlich das einzige warme vegetarische Gericht neben einem Gemüsepattyburger (außer diversen Süßspeisen), dafür aber echt in Ordnung, der Salat mit Hühnerbrust und der Hamburger war auch gut (habe ich mir sagen lassen).Lediglich die Spagetti Bolognese warten echt nicht mehr alles denke,sondern leider schon mehr als weich. Letztendlich ist die Lage zum Lift der entscheidende Faktor, dass Essen kann schnell trotz Hochbetrieb zu den Osterferien, wir können wieder.
