A luxury hotel in the middle of Saalbach. It has excellent staff & food and friendly atmosphere.

We had such a good stay at Saalbacher Hof. It’s one of those hotels where you just feel comfortable straight away. The location is honestly perfect. It’s right in the centre of Saalbach and super close to three main ski lifts. You can walk to all of them in ski boots in just a few minutes. No buses, no complicated planning. Just step out and go. The hotel itself is really high standard, but in a relaxed way. The rooms are big, well laid out and practical. Bathrooms are great, with everything you need. You can see that someone really thought about how people actually use the space. Everything is clean, tidy and just easy to live in. The spa area is amazing. Indoor and outdoor pool, jacuzzi, saunas… plenty of options depending on your mood. After skiing it’s such a treat. The roof garden is also beautiful, with great views – perfect place to just sit and breathe for a moment. I loved the library space. It’s quiet and cosy, and there’s a power socket next to every sofa, so you can sit comfortably with your laptop. You even have direct access to the garden from there, which makes it feel even nicer. Practical things are done really well too. The ski and bike room is big and comfortable. The luggage room on departure day is also spacious, so you don’t have to drag your bags around after check-out. These small details really matter. The bar and woodburner lounge are very cosy in the evening. Food was great, with themed nights and lots of choice. They also cater properly for vegans, which is nice to see, even though I’m not one myself. And the staff – really friendly and helpful. Not in a forced way, just genuinely nice people who make you feel welcome. Overall, it’s a hotel where everything simply works. Great location, great facilities, great people. We would happily come back.

Lovely hotel in brilliant location. Family suite room was nice with lots of storage. Breakfast was adequate but the coffee was not drinkable! Spa area very nice and a lovely relaxing space (when no noisy guests!). Food in s’wirt restaurant was nice but menu same all day so we never chose it for dinner having had a few lunches there! Staff were brilliant before and during the stay. I’d definitely recommend this hotel and will certainly go back!

Sooo noisy. Night club across street til 3.30 pm. Then metal beer barrel deliveries down the cobbles til 4.30. Then the bin men… then the church gongs at 7. Hotel staff said … it’s a party town what do you expect. Fun… but at least some sleep! If you can’t sleep ( no free ear plugs given) is it really a hotel?

Lovely hotel, great everything except…. You can’t sleep in this hotel as the noise from street is off the scale. Mentioned to staff…. V v v aware this is an issue… but unable to do anything about it. Truly… if you can’t sleep in a hotel… it it really a hotel.

Wow, what a great hotel this is. From first enquiry to checkout everything worked really well. Great communication on WhatsApp, great help organising Taxi, lift passes and rentals. Lovely warm greeting. The rooms were very clean and well fitted out, the restaurant always had a very wide and very fresh range of food. Always served with a smile from the helpful engaged team. The spa, pool and sauna too were very good. The boot room stairs were a bit of a challenge though. Reception staff also deserve a special mention for being friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. All in all great and thank you, we will return.
