Das Neuhaus in Saalbach

I have stayed at this hotel twice and will surely come back. Either you are travelling with friends or family, this hotel offers you the whole package. Great food, wonderful service, fine rooms, superb wellness. They even have a nightclub in the basement. (But it is well sound-isolated, so no noise in the rest of the hotel) Location is less than 2 minutes walk from 3 ski lifts, and shops and bars are right outside the main door.

Great hotel. The best location for skiers - very close to the Bernkogel and the Kohlmais lifts. Very nuce and comfortable room. The spa area is large, varied and luxurious. Good service from all the staff. Highly recommended.

Fantastic location in the centre of the ski resort of Saalbach . We stayed in one of the renovated rooms with Mountain View’s Great swimming pool and wellness centre . The hotel is spotless with good sized and heated ski lookers The restaurant had plenty of selection and our waitress Natalia was very attentive , it was a pleasure to dine there !!. We have stayed here before and will definitely be back again

The location, rooms, wellness area, and food are all excellent, but the restaurant service truly deserves special praise. Anna, the restaurant manager, is exceptional — warm, attentive, and incredibly professional. She creates a welcoming atmosphere and sets an outstanding standard of service that truly elevates the dining experience.

We have been to many hotels in many countries... but Das Neuhaus is up there with the best of the best. Located in the middle of the pedestrian area, the rooms are large with a beautiful view, super clean, fancy showers in a spacious bathroom. Toilet in separate area is rare these days. In the large restaurant the friendliest staff and excellent food. Wellness and fitness areas beautiful and modern. Reception staff kind and very helpful. Look no further. If you want to be spoiled in any way... come here!

We had a super week at the hotel. Very central location and with the ski world cup there were very few tourists in the hotel. All the rooms were full but with athletes who kept themselves busy! Food was good - sometimes a bit too fancy for our tastes but they went out of their way to accommodate. Julia & George in the restaurant are worthy of a special mention for excellent friendly attention ! The pool & spa area is brilliant and a real bonus after a long days skiing. Definitely worth a visit and we will return.

We visited over new year 2024 , family of 4 , 2 adults , 2 teenage children . The welcome on our arrival was warm, and inviting . Staff were aware that our stay was due to my husbands 60th birthday and they quietly asked if it was OK to make him a cake . That was a lovely touch . We had 2 inter joining junior suites which were traditional in style , very comfortable , spacious and good storage . On arrival in our rooms was water , pastries and fruit again a nice touch . The boot room was first class . Each room had a specific locker for your skis/board , poles and boots. No fighting for space !!! Boots were dry and warm the next morning , again made life so much easier . The facilities at the hotel such as swimming pool , sauna , Jacuzzi etc were amazing . Clean , constant supply of fresh towels and helpful staff . There was a quiet room with beautiful comfortable beds , fresh flavored water and blankets. If you needed away from the kids for some head space , this is the place to go . The location of the hotel was ideal , 2 mins in either direction and you are at the major lifts. Queues were fast moving as all lifts and gondolas were modern and scooped everyone up very quickly so relatively minimal time standing around . The meals/ breakfast were first class . The selection at breakfast was unreal , something for everyone's tastes from freshly prepared fruit to cooked breakfast from bread and cheese to freshly made belcher, cereals for the children , large selection of hams and fruit to take away . The only improvement I would make would be to add another coffee machine , but this is not a deal breaker, the standard of food far out wayed only 1 coffee machine . The afternoon snacks were a selection of pastries and cold pasta/ salad . Again unbelievably tasty and all at a high standard of presentation . Staff were so friendly , helpful and extremely engaging which was lovely . The evening meals were fantastic , loads of variation and accommodated vegetarians . Never had the same combination all week , always something new and exciting on the menu . Hats off to the chef !! ...on our last day we were leaving early , but that was not a problem for the staff , we were handed 4 x packed breakfasts , with sandwich baps , fruit , drinks and chocolate bar . nothing was a problem for the staff , so very accommodating . all in all our stay was amazing , and I would definitely return.

The place, staff, rooms, food and the owners are fantastic. SPA and pool are good enough to recover your self after a day spent skiing. Highly recommend to visit this marvelous hotel. It is perfect for kids. Location is superb for skiers. We visited twice for less than a year.
