Mate Dependance in Vienna

The staff is extremely nice and helpful! The rooms are nice in my opinion. Clean sheets, comfortable heating, TV, mini fridge. Not to mention the coffee machine downstairs that makes amazing hot chocolates! It's a cozy hotel to come and rest in. Would totally recommend for anyone keen on exploring Vienna. Danke!

I wos for two days in this hotel and it wos clean and comfortable. Only complaint is you can hear the noise from near rooms. And even this is not big problem. Overall very good experience

From the outside, the hotel did not look like much. However, the room was very nice and comfortable - and clean! Though I must admit, I have never seen such a small toilet. However, since it was separate from the bathroom, it was no problem - in fact it was rather nice that one could use the toilet when the other was using the bathroom.

What really makes this place stand out though is the staff. Not only were they very friendly but also exceedingly helpful! We asked the simple question "how early does the U-bahn start running?" so we could be at the airport on time. We received an answer straight away to the question, but next time we passed the reception, she called us and had found out the exact combination of busses and trains for us to use, complete with the stops where we should change from one to the other and which types of tickets to get. They also made sure we had enough change, to get tickets from the ticket machines, as the stations were unmanned at this early hour. During the stay, they equipped us with maps, where they'd marked in the various things we wanted to visit.

There was a problem with the radiator in our room - the thermostat had got stuck at full heat. We were only there for the weekend, and they could not get hold of a plumber, but they TRIED to fix the problem.

I would definitely stay at the Hotel Mate Dependance again. :)
