Great individual style of room with extra love in all details, fantastic breakfast. Loved being surrounded by art. Phantastic hotel with many stories to discover.

Such a unique hotel - from the gorgeous rooms to the dining and the tea time. You will not regret staying here! The reception desk was so helpful. And the rooms are to die for!

Good design, especially the public area, the sitting room is a good place to take a warm tea rest after whole day's walking.
Good service, every one are considerate and friendly.
The breakfast is good, simple but high quality with fresh fruit and fromage.
The facility in room seems not so good, one of the light of washroom is not working.

Lot’s of Attention to detail, professionalism, kindness, super clean & fantastic breakfast with huge food variety..an approach that made our stay worth remembering! The entire stuff was very friendly and no doubt they all make the experience count due to their stance towards the client which makes the visitor feel comfortable from the very first moment. The management was kind enough to offer us a room upgrade thus making our single day of stay even more relaxing. It has been really appreciated:) Special thanks to Milena who not only answered all our questions but went the extra mile by giving us extra advice on the city’s hot spots. We had a truly wonderful five-night stay at Altstadt Vienna, which genuinely lives up to its promise of being a “home from home.” From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, friendly and incredibly helpful, setting the tone for the rest of our visit. Our room was stylish, spacious and thoughtfully designed, with a wonderfully comfortable bed and the added luxury of a bath — a real treat after long days exploring the city. Breakfast each morning was superb. We particularly loved the special daily wellness shot and the freshly prepared hot options. Afternoon tea was another highlight — such a delicious and civilised touch. The pianist playing on Friday and Saturday was the perfect accompaniment. The location of this hotel is excellent: perfect for exploring Vienna on foot, while also being close to the city’s efficient and very affordable public transport network. We would return in a heartbeat and look forward to discovering another of the hotel’s beautifully individual rooms.

Very nice large suites and calm atmosphere! Don’t let the entrance fool U, when entering your room/suite you will be overjoyed at how nicely the room is decorated with famous architects and designers such as Josef Frank among others. Very good Breakfast and Afternoon Tea with a very talented pianist, who play classical pieces without notes! The Hotels taxi transfer from and to the hotel also performed well in time.

A lovely stylish hotel, great breakfast and helpful staff. Location was good, safe and quiet, lots of vintage shops and places to eat, nice to be not in the middle of the tourist area, yet only a 10 minute walk to museums and 15 minutes to Old Town
