It's the most frustrating of hotels. Due to the attempt to make everything automated. They don't give you basic information like wi-fi passwords in the room, combination for safe, map to fire escapes. TV doesn't have broadcast signal it's only intended for streaming. Tea and coffee facilities only has tea bags, no coffee or whitener. The biggest problem however is the decision to remove room keys and send you a link that opens the door. After a delayed journey and 8% battery on my phone. It kept saying too many attempts to open the door. They don't have a back up facility like a PIN or key safe. Plumbing is ancient and shower is either boiling hot or freezing cold within a millimetre of turning the dial. They don't do house keeping whilst you stay. Rooms have poor sound insulation so everyone walking past sounds like they're in your room.

The suite was nice big and very clean and tidy. The problem is that the owner gave us a link to open the door of the room. The link worked only one time then didn’t work. We sent them ton of messages and called them 20 times. Nobody answered and we couldn’t enter the suite. We had to go and rent another hotel for a night and all our medications and possessions were in the suite, that we weren’t able to enter. The next day we got contacted by the owner and she said that she refunded the money for one night and she apologized. We appreciate the effort but it was very stressful and unnecessary experience. That we hope to never experience again. To be honest the location was amazing adm they had a nice sitting area.

Our experience at this Hotel was extremely bad. The room wasn't cleaned at all (old food, used tissues, hair lying around, no clean towels). There are never any employees around. The person at the emergency hotline doesn't pick up the phone, he seems to only do SMS. Also the time between responses was completely unreasonable, we were sitting in the hotel without a room at 11pm and he takes 30min to answer. The codes they give you to obtain the room keys have a decent chance of not working. Also I'm not sure how often they change the combinations and quite often they don't scramble the locks, so that someone with bad intentions could easily get access to your room. Also we met another visitor and a family, both of them had similar problems. We were given the combination to a room but there was already a person in there. Later on someone was given the combination to our room, so this sorta thing seems to happen regularly. The room we were given in the end neither had a toilet nor a bathroom door. We therefore had to use the toilet for the employees, which is located directly next to the kitchen, and doesn't have a sink. Which leads me to question how often the kitchen staff washes their hands. Also they completely ignored the fact that we specifically booked a room with separate beds.

If I could not give stars I would...a hotel that is not a hotel. As a first impression, upon opening the door we found mattresses, furniture, paint and rubbish...not to mention dirt everywhere! Upon entering the rooms, cleanliness to the minimum of indecency, completely wet towels on the bed, to our request for dry towels (obviously via telephone because absolutely no one was seen) they replied that they did not understand our request! The non-existent staff were not there it was no one left to our own devices! In the morning there was only one lady in charge of breakfast, but obviously she either didn't understand, or pretended not to understand! We spent 4 days of hell!

Stay away from this "hotel" which is not a hotel, dirty everywhere, absent assistance, vomiting breakfast, putrid rooms, shuddering toilet facilities, they left us used and wet towels, the hotel is located in a decadent ancient building , just look at the attached photos to see the nightmare we went through! On the first day we were woken up in the middle of the night by two girls who had stayed outside because they didn't receive the room keys and had to sleep on the floor in the breakfast room!

As soon as we arrived at the hotel (6.00 pm) we found the room still dirty! We go to the reception and find no one. Luckily we meet the cleaning girls who tell us that they were not aware of our arrival at 6.00 pm. In 4 days the room was not cleaned (there was no toilet paper) and the towels were not changed to the point of asking the gentleman who takes care of breakfast, who gave us 4 dirty and still damp towels. Despite everything, there was no one at reception to talk to about these problems and no one answered the number left by the hotel. Another disappointment was the very poor breakfast.

Absolutely loved staying here. The staff are so helpful & knowledgeable & nothing was too much trouble. The bedroom & bathroom were spotlessly clean & bed was very comfortable. The position of the hotel was so central & it was so easy to get around from there. Highly recommend & will definitely stay here again.

The hotel's location was convenient, close to attractions and public transport. The room was clean but a bit outdated, and the bed was comfortable enough. The staff was polite, but not overly friendly. Amenities were basic - good for a short stay but lacked extra comforts. Overall, an average experience suitable for budget travelers.

Owner and staff very nice and helpful. Room was clean but very dated. Furniture with worn layers of lacquer gave a shabby appearance. Beds hard but sufficient.
What really bothered us is the fact that the hotel is located on the ground floor. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors are rental or purchase apartments, but accessible via the hotel entrance.
We stayed 2 nights over the weekend and twice we 'enjoyed' two nightly techno parties directly above us, which lasted until early in the morning. Guests coming and leaving did not take into account the hotel guests and were noisy and people banged their doors. After the first night we were completely exhausted and we spoke to the hotel owner about this. He apologized and would make sure it didn't happen another night. He also told us that we could call the emergency number at reception if it happened again.
The rest of the day we walked through the city like zombies, went to the museums and castles for which we had bought tickets in advance, but due to tiredness we were not able to enjoy them much.
That evening we had tickets for the musical Rebecca in the Raimund Theater but we just fell asleep. Our expensive tickets cost over €100 each. When we returned to the hotel, the reception was unmanned and we went straight to sleep. Unfortunately this was short-lived; again people in the hall shouting and banging the door. Shortly afterwards, deafening techno music sounded again. I walked to the reception and called the emergency number, but heard that the number was temporarily unavailable.
Around half past four, after dialing the emergency number 20 times, we got the owner on the phone, who asked what we wanted him to do... Ultimately he suggested calling the police, but we have neither the owner nor seen/heard the police. Around 7am on Sunday morning it was completely silent and we must have fallen asleep. We woke up just before 9 a.m. and rushed to the breakfast room without showering because breakfast was until 10 a.m. Even though breakfast lasted another hour, there appeared to be no more rolls (several hotel guests also arrived after us, we were definitely not the last). A gentleman went somewhere to get bread and came back with a loaf of stale bread that was so dry it was simply inedible. We tried to eat a few slices of dry cake, but we still had breakfast in the center because it was far from sufficient. All in all, we walked with our soul under our arm for 2 days through 2 sleepless nights, were not able to use our city passes optimally and were not even able to do 20% of everything that was planned.
We are far from luxurious people and have been camping with a tent for 30 years, but we have never had such a bad experience before. It completely ruined our long weekend in Vienna...
