Emerald Hotel Baku in Baku

I had a truly terrible experience at this hotel. Arriving late at night in Baku, I was expecting a clean and comfortable room, but it took an incredibly long time for the room to be ready. As soon as I saw it, I was horrified. The room was disgustingly dirty and disorganized, and the overall condition of the hotel was so bad that it questioned basic human standards. It was clear that this hotel was not fit for human habitation, so I immediately cancelled the reservation and found a different place to stay.

Horrible experience. We arrived way before the check-in (3:00am) so we paid cash for the extra night. The rooms were horrible. Mold all over the sink. Water leaking by the toilet. Black stains on the sofa. Cigarette burns on the headboard. We were 3 in one of the rooms (we had 2 separate rooms) no blanket for the extra rollaway bed. Morning, no breakfast. Restaurant sent us to the FD, front desk back to the restaurant. The supposed breakfast area was empty. At the end, someone prepared us a small plate with some cold meats & cheese. We checked out even though we had the next night paid through *******. Contacted ******* but they couldn’t get a hold of the manager. They didn’t refund us. I sent ******* the photos. Terrible experience.

Sparse, old, shower temperature impossible to control, no hangers in closet, door lock flimsy and had previous damage, bugs in bathroom. Staff were friendly but that's about the only positive thing I can say.

This hotel staff language has a big issue and another the room Ac is not working at all after complaining also they are making excuses that the AC will start cooling after 9PM. The whole day we were sweating and feeling hot in the room........very bad experience 😡😡

I booked this hotel for 1 Night as it's showing 4* Hotel but when i reach the hotel no one came for luggage i went reception for this then hotel Manager said i look into Camera you take your own Luggage so i didn't send anyone for luggage, after them they alote a Smelly and lower category room, we also take our luggage, when we went reception for change room category they gave me another room but it's key not working, then i again went to reception for room change then gave me another room and it's Ac not working, after that i went recaption again then they gave me a small room but luckly Ac And room key is working, All time i have to carry my own luggage, hotel didn't send anyone for that, i lost my 2Hr in this process I have traveled my 3 yr daughter when i went for Breakfast then hotel said we will charge additional breakfast cost of your 3 yr daughter, and in his Breakfast menus is Tomato and Cucumber Slice only
