Mövenpick Bahrain Hotel in Manama

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel.
The location is excellent, and the staff are extremely helpful and efficient, from reception to room service.

I would especially like to thank the team for the in-room breakfast service, which was greatly appreciated due to difficulty accessing the buffet — the service was excellent and very thoughtful.

A special thank you to Lori and the wedding hospitality team — they were outstanding. Lori was incredibly supportive and reliable, and she helped me so much with my daughter’s wedding celebration. I truly depended on her, and she exceeded all expectations.

The hostesses were lovely, kind, and always willing to help, and the view is absolutely beautiful.

Overall, this hotel is my favorite hotel. I always visit it with my husband for afternoon tea, as I love the calm and peaceful atmosphere.
And honestly, you have the best scones — absolutely delicious!

piyush was incredible with sorting out the ambassador suite for our group. It was really appreciated it allowed our group a private area to relax and socialize and was the perfect size. The rooms where amazing and the buffet breakfast and lunch had such a wide variety to cater for everyone's preferences. The food was so fresh and abundance of food was great.

The close proximity to the airport made arival and departure seamless. Our entire group would happily come back.

I am not sure how I feel about my stay. On one hand, the room was nice, the bathroom was well maintained, and the food was delicious. Two things spoiled my impression.

First, as an Accor loyal customer for three years and a frequent traveller, it was the first time ever that my room was not ready when I arrived — two hours after the official check-in time. The reception staff did not seem to care; they simply advised me to wait another 20 or 30 minutes. This left me confused and disappointed.

The second moment was even more upsetting. The next day at the restaurant, a local man confronted me with aggressive behaviour. A waitress kindly defended me, saying that I was very polite, that I had already paid for my meal, and that he needed to leave me alone. I am grateful to her — but I was so shaken that I immediately left, with a surreal feeling of not being safe in a five-star hotel for the first time in my life. In general, the experience felt strange. The staff were friendly, but somehow distant — neither fully present nor really engaged.

I recently stayed at the Mövenpick Hotel Bahrain and had a pleasant and peaceful experience overall.

The hotel package was excellent value, including complimentary breakfast and a half-board meal plan that allowed us to enjoy either lunch or dinner at a great rate. The food quality throughout our stay was outstanding, and the buffet breakfast was a particular highlight.

The staff were efficient and genuinely caring. Special thanks to Mr. Piyush, who went above and beyond to assist us with airport transfers, including a complimentary drop-off service. Laila and Maries deserve special recognition for making our mornings delightful with their warm service at the breakfast buffet.

The room comfortably accommodated three guests with an additional bed, allowing us to enjoy quality time together in comfort.

However, I must note that the Accor customer care center was disappointing. Before booking, we had difficulty getting our questions answered, and being placed on hold for 10+ minutes while they attempted to transfer us to the Bahrain property was frustrating. This aspect of the pre-arrival experience could definitely be improved.

Despite the customer service issues before arrival, the on-property experience more than made up for it. I would recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Bahrain who values good food, helpful staff, and a relaxing atmosphere.

It was a convenient location for a stopover, about a 5-minute drive from the airport. The bed was fluffy and I slept soundly. The staff were also very polite and helpful.
