Exceptional Service by Ms. Sarasi

I recently stayed at Golden Tulip Bahrain and was truly impressed by the outstanding service provided by Ms. Sarasi at the reception. From the moment I arrived, she was warm, professional, and incredibly helpful with my room reservation. She handled everything efficiently and made the check-in process smooth and pleasant.

Her friendly attitude and attention to detail made me feel genuinely welcome. It’s rare to find such dedication and hospitality — Ms. Sarasi is definitely an asset to the hotel.

Highly recommend Golden Tulip Bahrain, and special thanks to Ms. Sarasi for making my stay memorable!

The location is excellent. However, it doesn't quite reach a five-star rating. Be careful if checking in during colder months! The rooms are very cold in January. The air conditioning only goes up to 17°. The only solution the hotel offers is to provide a space heater. The breakfasts are decent, and the staff is generally pleasant.

The rooms were clean and tidy, the buffet had good food and to top it all off, the location was pretty close to The Avenue which could be a nice excursion for a day. Overall, not exactly a 5 star hotel but nearing 4.

Very dirty and old hotel. I’m surprised they are 5stars. Very tiny breakfast even with multiple bad choices. Strange and sad behaviour from the staff. Room with bad isolation…

I do not recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a clean room or good hospitality. Please read, I just want to warn people so they don’t feel sick and miserable instead of them resting for their next flight. We were given this hotel by Gulf airline to rest for our next flight and OMG.. Avoid at any cost!
Shuttle driver arrived an hour late, when we arrived to the hotel the person checking us in was okay… not welcoming not friendly which is fine.. could be language barrier… did not think much of it.
They wanted to keep our passports and I refused.. what if they get lost or damaged. Never had a hotel trashy to hold our passports.
We were given the room. Prior to going to the room we were told to go to the basement to have breakfast.. not in the appear level restaurant. OMG again… it was terrible.. place smelled and the food was far from fresh or eatable. We didn’t want to get sick so we just took a piece of bread and as for lunch and dinner that were paid for by the airline we ended up skipping for sure. Now back to the room…they sent us to a room in a building attached to the hotel after the pool area..OMG disgusting in every way. Carpet stained heavily, bathrooms rusted everywhere, bed smells terrible and the whole room smells terrible. I had to go and talk to a manger because I figured we are being treated this way because probably the airline has an ageeemnt to give the cheapest rooms or something. I don’t know but I told them this was disgusting and there was no freaking way it was a 5 star hotel but they insisted it’s a 5 star hotel.. they changed the room to the main building… it’s still terrible. First room was 1 out of 10 second one was just 2 out of ten.
This shouldn’t be the first thing a tourist should feel and see in Bahrain, luckily we just searched and found the Avenue Mall and thank god it was beautiful.
Lastly, the night shift manager has told people to come to the reception/ front desk by 11:30 to take the shuttle back to the airport and the shuttle didn’t arrive until 12:15 I asked the guy I said who made this rule snd he said he did.. I said my wife is pregnant there was no reason to sit in the lobby for 45 min. He didn’t seem to care!

There is no way this is a 5 star hotel!
