My stay at the hotel was excellent. The location is ideal for exploring Brussels comfortably. Everything was very clean and in perfect condition. The reception staff were especially friendly; some spoke Spanish and were very helpful. We arrived before check-in and they stored our luggage without any problem. Hotel Kreutzwald has an excellent location, just a short walk to the Grand Place and a 3-minute metro ride away. It offers great value for money, but the rooms are small with poor soundproofing, and the breakfast is basic. The elevator is also quite old. The hotel really surprised us! The family room was spacious we only used the sofa bed because it was larger, and our son sleeps with us in the same bed. The sofa bed is very large and comfortable. Staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast area is well decorated, and I enjoyed sitting there and having a coffee. They have a pool table by the bar that my friend and I thoroughly enjoyed. They didn't have anymore parking available but I was able to find parking on the street.

The property is very well situated, close to the Grand Place, a beautiful cathedral, and a train station. Our room had a small balcony with a table and chairs, which was a nice touch. We chose the hotel for the very central location and it was indeed an overall fantastic experience! The 24h reception allowed us to make the most out of our Brussels trip, like leaving early to visit Bruges or coming back later than dinner after a night out in the Delirium village. The coffee space at the reception was a thoughtful and cute idea that we really much appreciated.

The room was fine. We had duplex type of room, with our bed upstairs and a big window for fresh air. We were only very disappointed by the staff at the front desk. 2 of the 3 people we talked to only spoke French, not even English. One of them also barely spoke French, mixed with Spanish. Very Nice and cozy hotel, very good breakfast. Staff are so fiendly and helpful, so near to Brussels Expo & mini-Europe. Metro & undergroud stations are just steps away from the hotel. The only thing is that they only accept Euros, so if you want to pay in cach you must go to a currency exchange before heading to the hotel as none is near the hotel (only in down town).

The rooms are small and you can hear everything due to the thin walls. The bed mattress is super soft and it feels like you are sinking in the middle.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel in Brussels. The staff are truly amazing and provide excellent service from the moment you arrive. Everyone is friendly, attentive, and genuinely cares about making your stay comfortable. The best part, however, is the owner. The guy at the reception was talking in a video call during the whole check in. He gave me another type of room at first which I had to go and request for a change. The new room was again the wrong type of room with three beds but at least was quite ok. But it was very cold and humid inside barely managed to sleep! The single room is very cost-effective, clean and tidy, with complete facilities, and an electric kettle is very important. The staff's service attitude is very good. I specifically asked the front desk about going to Waterloo and other issues, and they answered them patiently.
