Checkout untill 12:00 - this is a huge advantage for me. Very nice and clean room with coffee machine and tee. No problems with ironing in the room. All 4 elevators were working and they were coming fast but you need to put your room's card to go to your floor. Bad was very comfortable - you can sleep in the middle with no issues. Acoustic Noise from other rooms is OK - you can only hear flushing the toilet. Temperature in the room was just perfect - not to cold and not to hot. Gym and sauna sufficient for me - 7:00 to 23:00 means that you can open the door with your card in this time period, it doesn't mean that someone will tell you to leave just after 23:00. Location - 5 minutes to the north train station - 3 minutes to Burger Kind and McDonald's - if you want same junk food. We had a conference in this hotel. Breakfast was very nice, lunch OK nothing special but 2 vegetarian dishes. They have also 24h machines with food (e.g. salads).

Nice hotel in a really good location. The City Centre is easily reached on foot. Rooms were nice enough, perhaps a slight upgrade of rooms needed. We were woken every time someone in another surrounding room turned their shower on - really loud plumbing noise. We would have struggled to stay any loner than 2 nights due to the noise. A nice stay other than that.

The room was very nice, the location was convenient and the staff were quite helpful, but the thing I liked the most was the breakfast because there were many vegan options. All the food was great, but what I enjoyed most were the two kinds of vegan cheese, the vegan yogurt with nuts and dried fruits as toppings and the falafel.

Firstly - the positives:

- location is great, the boulangerie (bakery) nearby on the said road as "mykoffee" is great. Rogier station is 10 metres from the front door. Small supermarket next door, convenicenstore open until 5am opposite, and 2 fried chicken places opposite (KFC and OCheese)

- communal facilities solid. Free shuffleboard, nice bar and sauna. Gym is a bit lacking, but most mainland Europe hotels are.

- water pressure is GREAT, best I've had

However, they failed on a lot of things in the room. The key things I look at are:

1. Bed/pillows
2. Temperature
3. Soundproofing

The beds are far too soft and offer no support, and the pillows are square, so feel very narrow. As a result, very little support, and if you move in your sleep you will roll off.

The double beds have 2 single duvets, meaning you can't move much.

The thermostat in the room essentially didn't respond to our controls, as even when set to 5c is was still blowing out air of a similar temperature.

Even with the window as far open as it could be over night, we woke up wet with sweat.

As for noise - we could hear people walking around in the corridor, the TV from the rooms nearby, people moving furniture around etc. in the evening this proved quite frustrating.

Ultimately, this meant we struggled to sleep through the night, and what sleep we didn't get want very restful.

Whilst the location is great, and the hotel has some very good things, it fails on the basics.

The minimum standard is that everything is functional and clean, it mostly meets this (temperature control not functional).

The medium standard is that it's good at the basics and decent location (it fails, because of the beds and lack of sound proofing).

The high standard is great facilities, but this doesn't matter if you can't get a good night's sleep...

I think the hotel is a great value for price and the location is perfect. The Rogier metro station is right outside the door and there’s a Proxy supermarket next door. Just cross the street to the other side and that’s where the shopping area starts, going towards the Grand Place square.

I arrived very early in the morning and the reception team was kind enough to let me check in to my room after my long flight. I got to shower and take a nap before I started exploring the city in the afternoon, which was good because most stores around there open at 11am. That kind of service alone would make me return to this hotel whenever I visit Brussels again!

The staff and services are very good and the location was great too but what we notice in the room that the air humidity is a little bit bad because our window is moisting even we already adjust the air flow.

Very convenient hotel in the center of Brussels! The rooms are spacious and well equipped, with complementary water and a coffee maker. The breakfast is a bit pricey at 35 Euros, but there is a very covenient shop next door for all your food and drink needs. I opted not to have my room serviced daily which meant that I could give 10 Euros to charity over the tree nights that I stayed. I will defintely be back for my next trip.
