My friend and I truly enjoyed our stay here. The staff was friendly and helpful, the hotel was clean, and it has many well-maintained amenities. The pool view is amazing and features live music performances daily

I liked everything - from Breakfast to umbrellas on the beach. There is also a rooftop pool, sauna and fitness room

It's nice to find old staff at Pestana Rio Atlantica! I frequented the hotel from 2001 with my child and we had a wonderful vacation! Quite a few things have changed, but the sympathy of JR at the reception, the 2 S-S at the restaurant without forgetting Vivaldo at the entrance and the luggage

The hotel is in a prime location, across from Copacabana Beach and close to many restaurants. The hotel provides towels, which is essential for beach fun

they did not have any kind of heating, they only offered blankets. I needed to call receptions a few times for iron and board and if you keep the iron and board more than 1 hour, they charge you for it which is insane

I was there for a business event. Wifi connection at the hotel is horrible. it requires you to login in each time you use and logs you off automatically. the hotel was quite cold as it as off season

The room decor is quite dated, and the elevator is small and crowded during peak hours, leading to long waits. The breakfast is decent and acceptable. The hotel staff are excellent and friendly

they also charge you for the water inside of the room which I did not like at all

I think it was good, but for the price I think it should include breakfast.

Service at the hotel was excellent with the staff very quick to help with bags etc. The rooftop pool and bar was great and had amazing views of Copacabana. The room was a decent size and the shower very good

A good place to stay for visiting Rio de Janeiro. Close to the very beautiful beach, from the building tops is the fantastic view of the beach. Restaurants are around in walking distance

This hotel is truly just a stone's throw from Copacabana Beach. You can even borrow towels for the beach, which is a huge plus if you plan on spending time there

The pool at the top needs a redo and was smaller than I thought, but the splendid view was speechless

However there’s only one elevator functioning for 14 floors so we had to wait up to 10min every time and we were located at the 14th floor! Pool was small so we didn’t swim (in case you’re choosing based on that)

There's a pool and a terrace with a bar with a stunning view. The room is very comfortable, the bed is also comfortable, the water pressure is excellent, and there are European-style outlets

It was clean everywhere, the service was excellent, the room was nice and spacious, with two bathrooms and a great bed. The staff was helpful and all issues were resolved quickly. It was a 5-minute walk to the sea

Breakfasts are delicious, security is on hand, and it's very safe. We left documents and other savings in the safe, and nothing was lost. During holidays, the hotel tightens security and access control

The hotel is located on the main street, a 5-7 minute walk to the beach. There's a currency exchange office nearby with a good rate, but it's closed on weekends and closes at 6:00 PM

Good hotel! Good location 20/30min from Ipanema, Copacabana, Leblon, Leme ... Friendly staff who speak English. The hotel food is nice, there is enough choice and the cuisine is from a different culture every night.

However, there's nothing around the hotel at all; there are no shops of any kind. If you want to eat or buy daily necessities, you have to go inside the bus station, which is inconvenient

The tram to Rio's Santos Dumont airport stops in front of the hotel and it takes only about 20 mins to get there

Air conditioning took a while to cool down (3 hours), lack of amenities in the room such as plates and glasses.

The apartment was very dirty, I asked them to clean it and they said that no one would be available at the moment. They said they would send someone the next day, but they didn't.

Excellent value for money for those going to Rio with business to conduct in the region. Everything exceeded expectations. The only issue to resolve: the shower water wasn't hot early in the morning.

A good option for a stop on Copacabana. Delicious breakfasts, but limited food selection. The main drawback is the small rooms, and the bed linen was dirty on the first day.

Basic ibis which is similar to anywhere in the world. Does the job, has a desk and reasonable space. Quiet and well located.

My first room had the worst stains on the chair and sofa. No way should this room been allowed for check in. I booked a queen bed apartment and was moved to a. Double bed room with a view as trade

I was tired and could not be bothered to argue. There was an apology by the checkin staff. The breakfast is average (I came from Salvador where breakfast was amazing)

A very nice hotel and the staff was great. I particularly like Pablo and Ceaser at the poolside bar. Also, I got a massage from Krysty and she was top notch.

Best place to stay in Rio Best place to stay on Copacabana and Ipanema. We started off at JW Marriott and that was so bad we paid the big difference and stayed here. Would return in a heartbeat

Privileged location, close to several tourist attractions in the city, but it does not have the support to accommodate more than 300 units at the same time, such as during the Christmas season.

I loved it, the hotel is well located in the center close to the main tourist attractions, for the more distant places getting around by app is easy and cheap... I will be back again

The Location is just next to Cinelandia and Lapa in the City Center. The service at the reception was not so good

Breakfast is a bit chaotic and not many food options. Sometimes you have to queue and wait for the elevators. The rooms are pretty good but the air conditioning needs updating

Very good hotel. Clean and no noise room, but if you work in Rio downtown you should move to hotel close to downtown. Although your job is in Recreio and Barra you are in the best place.

Everything was very clean and well organized....only the buffet was expensive...they could have offered a more affordable price or lacart dishes with more affordable prices.

Hotel with free covered parking, which makes a difference as there is no way to park on the street in the region. Comfortable bed and a good breakfast.

The breakfast is good, but some aspects of food preparation could be improved, but that is a matter of personal taste. The only drawback is the gym, which is tiny, small and has little variety

I have stay at JW rio I found this hotel is newer, budget friendly and better view compared to JW, the staff gave us a free upgrade which we appreciate a lot

The hotel is in a good location. There are supermarkets and shopping nearby. It is also close to attractions and parking is convenient (very expensive)

The only thing that I’m not satisfied was their breakfast I know it’s not fair to compare it with JW, otherwise I’m very satisfied overall

First of all, the location was fantastic!! From the Copacabana Hotel, I could enjoy Copacabana Beach until dusk, and the hotel was also ideally located for waking up in the morning to watch the sunrise and taking a stroll along the beach

There's a large supermarket close by (within a 10-minute walk) and plenty of good restaurants nearby, making it the perfect place to enjoy Copacabana Beach. The staff were also friendly, and the breakfast was excellent

The location was excellent, center of Rio Copacabana. The bathroom fixtures were a little dated. Breakfast was good for starting day. Overall a great place to stay to enjoy the beach and surrounding areas.

The breakfast buffet it’s not worth it either if you like to eat different things every days. Because they serve the same meal every day. Again you can eat amazing breakfast at cafes nearby for same price or less

We did not make use of the pool and gym so unable to comment. But our standard room was a good size, reasonably clean with daily housekeeping

Rooftop pool is very small but has a spectacular view. Everything was good except the corridor & the rooms. I booked a 28 sq m Superior Room, my fault for not booking a room with a seaview

Five stars because that's the highest I can give! The hotel service was absolutely fantastic! We had already checked out in the morning, but our flight wasn't until the evening, and when we went back for our luggage in the afternoon, they even gave us 30 minutes to shower! Very old hotel but everything is clean for price paid. Room is big and location is superb in front of beach. At the corner 1 min walk there are some really nice Brazilian restaurants.

The reception able to speak english is an advantage as it is ease non portuguese speaker. Quite old hotel but spacious room and comfortable bed. There is a panaromic roof top bar. Nice view but still cannot see the beach
