Hotels with pool in Rio De Janeiro

This is my second time here, and it’s always a pleasure. The wifi has improved immensely since my last visit, which was a pleasant surprise

The pool, despite being well presented, has a ladder that for heavier people can break and make you look like a fool in the pool

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. Charles at the front desk speaks perfect English and was very helpful. He also speaks perfect Spanish as well. He. Made made stay all the more enjoyable. Muito obrigado.

Charles is a huge help and takes care of his guests, but all the staff is wonderful. The view of the beach is unparalleled

Given the security situation in Brazil, after checking my room, I found the balcony door lock was broken. I had to use my phone charging cable to tie the handle and make a knot

The breakfast does not have a good layout for moving around the room, the buffet is located in various positions in the room

Every day was the same menu, with only the cakes and one or two other items varying. But everything was very tasty. The cleaning was superficial and during the week they didn't change the sheets, only the towels

Regular hotel with helpful staff. The rooms need a paint renoval and the breakfast could be improved. Location is OK if you're planning to spend the days in Copacabana only.

Very well-located hotel with a beautiful rooftop terrace and pool and sundeck area. The TV remote didn't work in the room, nor did any of the reading lights. I struggled with the desk lamp switch to get an extra light

The hotel is very nice and well located. Our room was cleaned every day and the towels were changed. Check-in was quick, we were very well received and received all the attention from the staff

Clean rooms, good location. Only setting the right temperature in the shower was a bit difficult.

Love this hotel, the architecture & decor are like yesteryear art nouveau from the 1930s, great service and pricing, and Flamingo is a cool non-touristy but safe feeling area

The hotel is well maintained, although it's clearly an old building. The staff is friendly and helpful. We were checked in right away, even though we arrived early

Perfect location at few step from the beach. Buffet restaurant with super great service to the guests and friendly people. The rooms need to be updated,the bus still is a decent hotel for business.

I decided to put 4 stars because of the small inconveniences, but also because the only time I had breakfast there I had a stomach pain for the rest of the day. Beware if you have a feeble stomach

Neither was a problem for longer than one hour. They have a small garage that matches what you'll find in a building in that area from that time. I look forward to stay in it again

The location is good and the breakfast is great but that was it. We arrived and the room wasn't ready yet so we left our luggage at reception

Well located place with great service. The accommodation left something to be desired. In my room there was a lot of noise because of the air conditioners in the other rooms next door

(I didn't quite understand the logistics of the window), the intercom to speak to reception wasn't working, and at one point while taking a quick shower, the bathroom flooded the entire room

Nobody told us that this would cost something so we didn't pay! The room was on the 1st floor and had no view from the window outside, you looked at a dark wall so the room was always dark and you never knew if it was day or night

So we couldn't use the air conditioning and couldn't sleep well. We asked the night shift at reception for a solution and he said he would get back to us. After 1 hour we asked him but nobody got back to us

I arrived late at the hotel and there was no soap, I had to wait a considerable time until I got it. The air conditioning is good, but the system is different from what we are used to

Great location, but several areas need improvement Arosa Hotel has a great location, right in the heart of Lapa, close to many small local restaurants, bakeries, supermarkets, and various stores

The form included a number of unnecessary questions, more than what one would typically be asked at immigration when entering Brazil. Additionally, the internet did not work at all during our stay

It’s very easy to get around — in short, the location is excellent. The rooms are spacious, which is definitely a plus. However, several aspects of the service could be improved

Nice relaxing place in the center Great spacious room with air condition and quiet. Nice swimming pool and a well equipped gym. Luggage was safely held until pickup.

The Hotel is very helpful and guest friedly. I managed to brake the glass of the shower as a result of an accident and they immediately provided another room and didn't charge me for the damage

Very central, service fair but rooms very noisy. Not only for the carnival but also for the ac that is considerably old.

They can give you a voucher to use a out side academy so its very nice because they have there very good equipament. The academy its near by hotel on the next door

Amazing four star service and staff. Absolutely germ free cleanliness. Constantly cleaning. You could eat off the floor. My third year here. I shall return.

This is one of the best hotels that I have been to in the Rio de janerio metro area. The architecture is amazing and proof that in a tropical climate like Rio de janerio corridor can be cool without AC devices

There is a private beach and swimming pool with a nice view. It is near a wealthy area with good security and many people outside at night

The biggest disadvantage of the hotel are the dirty chairs in the breakfast hall, balcony windows do not move as it should be, and the bath is not clean as it should be in 4 star hotel but generally speaking the hotel is very good

In my case, we had to request service for the air conditioning system because it was so noisy that I couldn't sleep. The facilities are fine, and the breakfast is basic but comprehensive

The Wyndham is my fancy Batcave. It's safe and secure with all the resort amenities. The ocean and mountain views are amazing! Tcha-tchau.🤙🏽

Beautiful hotel with a beachfront location. Breakfast was very good, but there was little variety.

It also offered nice views from the pool area on the terrace. Overall it was a perfect stay and I highly recommend it to anyone. I wish all the hotels had such amazing staff as this one has

Excellent hotel, one block from the beach, excellent service, rooftop pool overlooking Copacabana beach.

The breakfast is delicious with many options, the room is very clean and well kept. The roof top pool could be a little bigger, but the view and amenities (shower and sauna) make up for the small pool

Reception was very cold both at check in (one was on the phone and the other one ignored us) and at check out (when we were asked coldly to stay until they had verified that as we indicated to them, we did not take anything from the minibar)

We had a small balcony with a nice sea view. AC was a bit noisy and the curtains did not fully cover the sunlight. Hotel is close to the beach and there is a convenient store just downstairs that sells water and alcohol

We had many hours after checking out of our room while waiting the airport, and the staff let us continue to use all the hotel amenities, including the incredible pool and view over Copacabana Beach from the sky deck

Great location to enjoy two famous beaches. Cute restaurant downstairs and small rooftop pool to enjoy. Yoga every weekday morning 8-9

The reception team were welcoming and efficient. The room was comfortable and had a great balcony with hammock and an amazing view of Arapaho beach all the way down to Ipanema and Laos with Dois Irmaoes beyond

We spent the first half of our trip in Copacabana and much preferred this hotel and location. Comfy beds, fresh and luxurious feel and some of the best food we've had in Brazil. Lovely views from morning yoga

Excellent hotel on Ipanema beach. Friendly and helpful staff, excellent restaurant and bar and clean and comfortable rooms. The perfect place to stay in Ipanema.

It is a real bonus the hotel being right on the seafront with no need to cross a busy road to reach the sand. It is in a peaceful location and felt very safe

Overall, the stay at the establishment was very good; however, the bedding accessories, such as pillows, smelled of cigarettes, and the towels were only changed once during the stay

Eclipses any of the ones we stayed in in Copacabana or Ipanema. Staff very friendly, great rooms and beautiful pool. They let us have breakfast on the heli pad one morning

The pool area, separate from the main lounge/terrace area, is very nice also, peaceful with dramatic views

The property is located down the coast from Rio, I guess in a suburb of Rio, and accessible through a winding private driveway with gated security which together with the property's secluded and leafy nature makes for a kind of "James Bond" hideaway feel, in my view that's not a bad thing! Service is pitched just right, led in the day by Emily, available on whatsapp, and nothing is too much to ask

The second is actually the secluded nature of the property - Uber is hard to come by (although does work), the novelty of the winding driveway in and out wears off slightly, and the car journey into central Rio is quite long and prone to traffic

La Suite by Dussol is an atmospheric hotel with dramatic coastal views and its own very stylish and idiosyncratic "modernist" art vibe. The rooms are eclectic, spacious, comfortable and also stylish in their own way

A very good hotel for its money. Spacious room. I liked everything. Clean room, bed, white and clean towels. Cleaning every day. Breakfasts are good for such Brazilian hotels.

Service not very courteous, but efficient. In the apartments, only bath towels are provided... face towels are not provided.

Central location. Good pool and bar. Old building with a lot of renovation being carried out. Higher floors already modernized. Good dinner buffet and fair price. Good breakfast.

Good location just one minute walk from Praça Tiradentes in the historic city centre. The hotel is old and needs some refurbishment. Considering the cheap price including free breakfast, I would stay there again

Hotel meets the basic requirements, but it is very well located, staff are very attentive, cleanliness is ok, I didn't use the pool, but it was very clean, the view from up there is beautiful.

Exceeded my expectations. Great location, great breakfast, extremely attentive staff, with numerous points of reference for circulation, close to pharmacies, bakeries, cafes, restaurants and the subway.

Everything was great Close to the beach Graça Seu Vicente, Uanderson, Fernando and Patrick are super attentive employees.

The breakfast was the poorest among the hotels I stayed in Brazil. The view of the ocean and Rio from the hot jacuzzi on the top floor terrace was magnificent. Still, would I recommend it? Of course I don't!

The location of the hotel is excellent, a few blocks from Copacabana beach and very close to restaurants, supermarkets and pharmacies

Stayed at APA Hotel with a group in the recent past. Single rooms are not that large, but this was a minor issue. Very good hotel. Great staff. Rich breakfast. Great location. Accommodating management. Safe surroundings.

An excellent hotel, clean and well-maintained, everything worked—the fridge and safe, hot and cold water were available all the time, and the breakfasts were excellent. The atmosphere during breakfast was homey

There are some helpful staff coz he let us check in early at around 10am since there was a room available. However when it comes to other help like cleaning the room or even requesting for a new towel, it never came

I had a really good stay at Nobile Hotel Copacabana. The location is excellent — just a short walk to Copacabana Beach and close to shops, cafés, and everything you need in the area

Check the weather for Christ Redeemer because if it’s foggy, then you can’t see it at all. Don’t change money in the airport or bank, go around the copacobana beach, there’s a jewelry shop that has really excellent rates

The hotel is in a good location, money wise is really affordable yet it matches if their service. Don’t forget to book tours, our favourite was the last one where we hiked an hour to take the cliff photo

If you’re a backpacker looking for a place in Rio that feels like home, Aquarela Hostel should be on your list. From the moment you walk in, the staff is welcoming and makes you feel like you’re more than just a guest

The coffee is excellent and was a pleasant surprise, given that this is a budget hotel in the middle of a favela. I never felt any danger whatsoever walking up and down the 5 minute hill to Leme and Copacabana

The attention to detail is spectacular. The view is wonderful, each room has a balcony and a hammock. The couple who run things, Marielle and Tibout, are super helpful and friendly

I enjoyed my coffee up there every morning. The breakfast included eggs, fresh tomatoes and cucumbers and assorted fruits, plus all of the normal stuff

Breakfast is good, only would like to say there is room to improve with coffee but fruit, queijo and bread are good

It’s a perfect place to rest, and reset your energies. There so many beautiful trees around and it’s close to the beach. Great price too.

Convenient walk to Flamengo Beach which is not the nicest of the beaches in Rio, but it does the trick! I forgot to pack a towel and tote bag and I literally walked one minute out of the hotel and bought both for cheap

The bed is actually quite comfortable, and the room is clean! But literally there is no decor and the closet looks a bit unsettling and I was very nervous when I looked in the bathroom because it does kind of look like a prison bathroom

No toiletries except for hand soap which is annoying (I had to buy my own). The biggest perk is the 24/7 air conditioning. Clean room, safe area, comfy bed, and air conditioning is all I need! Workers are kind

I am not taking off points for Riazor’s location, because you know it’s not convenient to Ipanema/copacabana when you book it. You just know you’ll have to uber. I’m also sad because I keep missing breakfast

Workers are so friendly and helpful. Located in city center, in front of metro, includes car park place. Beside Breakfast service included. Except that one I really liked the service and 1 star room

I think it ends at 10 and I wake up at 10. Anyway you are not getting luxury. But I did book this hotel for super cheap literally a week before new years

The shower is EXCELLENT, the bathroom only has one problem: you can hear everything from the bathroom next door, but other than that it was fine. The TV worked perfectly, and the girls at reception were super attentive

Parking in a closed, covered, and secure location. The air conditioning cools well, but it's quite noisy, but nothing that bothered us too much
