The rooms look like they’ve never left the Soviet era.
We checked in at night, around 11 PM.
Right away, we were told to bring our passports the next day. When we asked why and what for, no one gave us an answer.
The next day, after some drama, they didn’t keep our passports but just registered the room under our names - without printing out any information about our stay.
The bed had sand on it and long black hairs on the pillows.
“All inclusive” doesn’t even include drinking water in the rooms, let alone any alcoholic drinks.
At dinner, the salads had old vegetables-probably leftovers from breakfast, or worse.
Lunch is supposed to go until 2:30 PM, but by 2:10 there’s barely any food left, and flies are all over the buffet.
The soap in the bathroom is just some diluted liquid that doesn’t lather or wash off properly.
The toilet brush is dirty and rusty.
The only lighting in the room is the ceiling light, so if you need to use the bathroom at night, you have to turn on the lights for the whole room.
The room is opened with a physical key, and only one is provided for everyone, no matter how many guests are staying there.
Juice and sodas are just cheap syrups mixed with water in a machine-nothing natural at all.
We booked six nights, but never received a confirmation. As a result, instead of paying €800 for two people, we had to pay an extra €150, because the reception thought we were staying five nights, not until the 5th of the month.
They sent us a message through our neighbors while we were at the beach, telling us to immediately vacate the room. Soaking wet in our swimsuits, we were rushed out because the room was already booked for someone else.
We paid nearly €1,000 for six nights in these conditions and got nothing but stress and poor treatment in return.
Our vacation was ruined on the last day. The hotel reception, as well as the manager Helena, took no responsibility for their unprofessional attitude.

The only good thing was the sea.
The hotel was full with bedbugs, be careful with those bugs, I had ~50 bites on my body in the morning. The food was okay however sometimes was cold, the cleaning service was very good. It was disappointing.
- the beach is not crowded, you get sunbeds and umbrella. Also, this is their private beach and it's 100meters from the hotel
-the food is good but not great. They vary most of the menu daily. They have fruits and deserts at each meal. Limited options for vegetarians
- the room was very clean but a bit small. Cleaning is done from time to time during your stay and towels are not changed often. Ours were not changed for 7 days
-parking does not exist, you simply park wherever you find a room. It's very crowded but we found a spot on our arrival
-staff is polite and helpful, but only few of them know English
-the pool is very small but it has a kid friendly zone
We were in a sea-view apartment and the view was amazing.
About the apartment - it was ok as for couple of days. Guests are not allowed to cook in the rooms, so there is no oven, microwave, etc. We were in one-bedroom apartment and both - the living room and bedroom were bright and spacious.
We paid for Full board. The best I could say is that the food was ok. Nothing fancy and quite the same every day, but tastes ok.
However, the restaurant is only open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is no lobby bar, so if you want a coffee, your options are a coffee machine and the beach bar.
The pool is quite small, but we prefer the sea anyway.
The city with some grocery stores is 15 minutes walking distance. The walk is nice.
The personnel was really nice and helpful although some of it was only speaking russian and it was hard to communicate.
Overall we are happy with our stay there and I would recommend the place to friends with kids who are looking for vacation in Obzor.
