We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Green Life Sozopol. The reception staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit, and we were so impressed with how nice and clean the entire resort was. The location is truly brilliant—being right on the beach is fantastic, and the overall environment is perfect for a holiday. With so many pool options and activities to choose from, it's an amazing place for families. We're already looking forward to our next trip and will definitely be back!

I don’t know where to begin but let me try. First, you can park at a remote place and have to walk 10 minutes every time to reach your room. There is also elevation to make the matters worse.
The room - old and cheap furniture, not super clean and I had a wasp nest at the balcony, so it was unusable. Stuff from the wasp nest were fallen and the floor was infested with ants. But this is the little problem. The price was cheap enough for me to tolerate this.
However, the service and the whole organization was atrocious. They give you a chip to be able to go in and out of the complex through a revolving mechanism, making you feel monitored all the time. Second, the cleaning staff wouldn't stop banging on my door even after I told them that I want to relax and don't need cleaning. One of them even started unlocking the door.

At one point I went to the city and when I came back I parked at the restaurant’s parking lot to have a dinner (the other parking lot is at the other end of the complex - lots of walking). Turns out it's forbidden. At one point someone from the reception interrupts my dinner to call me on the phone and tell me I owe 20 BGN (10 EUR) because I parked more than an hour at an unauthorized space. I told them I'm gonna pay and move the car the next day, asked politely to let me finish my dinner, they told me I will need to pay
20 BGN for every hour...

So I don't finish my dinner and go to pay at the exit of the complex, where they tell me I can't pay with a card, cash only. I didn't have cash with me and the guy told me "you better find some because you will need to pay 20 for every hour, hurry". I found an ATM thankfully and paid, then they would still not let me out for another 20 minutes because “the system doesn’t work”. At this point I had enough stress caused by their stupid and unclear systems and rules and cut my stay short without asking for any refund. Thankfully they didn't even try to convince me to stay and of course didn’t offer even a cent back. I would have paid even more to just get away from this “hospitable” place.

The buildings and the common grounds are amortized and not well maintained. It’s wet and slippery around the pools. The restaurants are expensive for the quality of the food and the location. The apartment we rented was nice. There are several pools on the property, but if you don’t rent an apartment directly from the reception, you have to pay for the the pool and beach chairs.

The nastiest, smelly bathroom, with a missing shower door that floods the floor, horrible room, hard bed, poor lamp light, no mirror, not enough towels. The personnel says they'll come fix the broken toilet and they never come. The pictures do not match the apartment!!! I booked through the Green Life Website. They said, "well every apartment is different". Never again. Spent $200 per night per person and had the worst stay ever this summer in Sozopol. We were 7 people.

The location and the staff are great. The rooms despite being "premium" are not that great. One can see it was renovated but some of the furniture is old and even broken, the bed mattress is in dire need of replacing. The shower handle was fixed with some silicone and we got a rusty clothes dryer. The staff is really friendly and helpful. They replaced the dryer right away, but still the feeling of cheap luxury stays. I would say the price is a bit high for the quality, but other than that great place with beautiful gardens, clean pools, great beach and friendly and helpful staff. The restaurants are also OK, not the best but good with bearable prices for a tourist place.

A little bit overpriced was “Noir beach”

Nice concept - lavish greenery and the pathways are nice and clean, the resort is stroller/handicap friendly which is a big plus. Unfortunately not all areas are well maintained - see photos of the toilet by the round pool and trash cans overflowing. The toilet is in horrific condition. It smells really I mean really bad, there is dirt smeared even on the walls, the door does not even close let alone lock and the toilet paper was empty all day until replenished in the early afternoon. Not a place you want to use let alone with toddlers. Clearly management has some work to do.

This hotel is an absolute disaster. I stayed here for a week and not once did they clean my room or change my towels until I had to start complaining. The pedestrian way inside the hotel had dog poop on it for days and no one bothered to clean it up. The air conditioning in the room was stuck on and I couldn't even turn it off, making for an uncomfortable stay. To make matters worse, I had booked two rooms and one of them had a broken sofa/extra bed. When I complained and was moved to the other room, the door was not working properly. Instead of fixing it, I had to figure out a way to make it work myself. Save yourself the trouble and find a different hotel to stay at. This place is a complete nightmare. On top of all the other issues, there was even a frog in the pool! It's clear that this hotel has serious cleanliness and maintenance problems. I can't believe I paid good money to stay in such a poorly managed and neglected establishment. Avoid this place at all costs unless you want to deal with a multitude of issues during your stay. It was a complete disappointment from start to finish.

Best place I've been in Sozopol! The resort is amazing, this place brings comfort in every corner and removes the need of always being in a hurry. With an amazing location - just above CAVO beach bar - it's hard to beat this piece of Eden.
