The hotel was excellent overall. The staff were polite, attentive, and always willing to help. Our room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable.

The SPA was good, although not among the best I have experienced. Unfortunately, as is often the case in Bulgarian hotels, some of the SPA facilities were not operational during our stay.

The highlight for us was the hotel's family-friendly offering. They have three fantastic children's centers where my young daughter had an amazing time. There is also a wonderful outdoor playground and a dedicated children's pool with slides, but it was disappointing that the pool was empty during our visit in early May, which we did not expect.

Our biggest disappointment, however, was the quality and variety of the food offered at dinner. The selection was quite limited and did not match the standard we expected from a hotel of this category. We also noticed that toward the end of breakfast service, many items were not being replenished, leaving guests with a very limited choice. This was particularly disappointing given the overall quality of the hotel and the price we paid.

Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would happily recommend the hotel to families with young children. With some improvements to the dining experience and the avilability of SAP and pool facilities, it would be an outstanding destination.

Good place, bad prices.

250 euro/night and they still charge you for coffe in your room - 1.64 euro/capsule.

We got breakfast and dinner included, but water and drinks aren't. There's not even tap water in the restaurant. You need to buy 2.5 euro/ 750ml water bottle on dinner. The food was limited in choice, compared to other hotels of this caliber - only 5 main courses to choose from.

There's a fun zone , where everything requires payment.

The rooms, service and location is good. The prices are ridiculous for what you're getting.

I don’t really have anything to complain about! Our room was amazing with a nice view of the Rila mountain range. The room was pretty big and spacious and we had space to leave our things. The beds were also comfortable. The bathroom was also amazing! I liked the bidet…

The restaurant was pretty nice the food was good and thoroughly cooked. The desserts were addicting I wanted to keep on getting more and more!

The spa was also very enjoyable and relaxing. The whole place smelled amazing and the sauna options were nice. First one is the least cold which is 60° it’s the only one that doesn’t say it’s temperature. The steam room and hammam were also really comfy! I enjoyed the hammam a lot it smelled good and I could pour water over myself… so relaxing. The pools are near the spa and are warm. A bit on the side of the pool there are another 3. Two really hot and cold and 1 that is lukewarm. There is an indoor one and an outdoor and are easily accessible through a small dividing hole where the indoor one starts. The sun beds were also comfortable.

I don’t really have anything else to say! I would stay here. It’s not too expensive and worth it.

Short note though the electricity in the hotel can turn off and on sometimes. Maybe due to the fact it’s in a village and the electricity is too much to handle… not a big problem! Just wanted to say. Nothing too uncomfortable and dangerous happened.

Perfect place for a holiday with children. There is a whole separate building "Children's republic" with different activities every day. SPA is nice and we'll maintained. The food is good and a lot of it is from local farm. Biggest plus for us was the size of the double rooms, they are very spacious and have everything you need.

We cannot say that the facility itself is poorly maintained— the rooms, spa, pool, and common areas are generally in good condition. However, our experience was negatively affected by the service. The staff were consistently unfriendly, and the cleaning team was often loud. Instead of waiting for us to leave the room, we were repeatedly asked to step out so they could clean, and not in a particularly polite manner.

Breakfast and dinner were always very crowded, with no available tables during the hours provided. The food selection was limited, consisting of only a few main courses, and guests were served by staff rather than being able to portion their own plates.

Additionally, getting drinks at meal times was a long process— on average we waited at least 15 minutes to be served.

Overall, considering the service experience and the dining situation, we did not find the stay to be worth the cost.

Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing, and I would not return or suggest it to anyone. The attitude of the receptionist was unacceptable. Other guests complained that we were sitting at a lobby table, even though we had already finished our drinks some time earlier and had ordered more. Shortly after, a receptionist approached us, looking for reasons to reprimand us. She did not introduce herself, nor did she behave politely or professionally. Instead, she pointed out that we had placed our feet on a chair and told us that slippers were not allowed in the restaurant of a SPA hotel. At the same time, the other group--who had complained about us--were sitting with their feet up on the sofa, wearing shoes, and even brought their own bottle of whiskey from the room. The manner in which the receptionist spoke to us was extremely disrespectful, unprofessional, and inappropriate. Additionally, on one of the days of our stay, the outdoor thermal pool was not functioning, and the water was cold, making it unusable. The hotel is, in my opinion, highly overrated, with prices that do not reflect the level of service. The food selection is very limited, and the overall standard is below acceptable.

By and large, a good experience. The food is amazing, organic fruit and veg, grown at the hotel’s own garden, superb quality and taste. An issue with our dinner on day 1 (a small stone in the salad!) resulted in profuse apology from the restaurant manager and a complimentary lunch on day 2 - we were happy with this response. The room was spacious and airy, the duvets and pillows offered a great night sleep and, very importantly, it was quiet - bar the children in the swimming pools but we could live with that. Swimming pools - lovely warm mineral water, however, it was spoilt by the few smokers around the outdoors pool. We then moved to the indoors swimming pool, which did not feel right. Why should the lack of consideration of one or two people make us change our plans? Hot Springs Medical and SPA - enter the 21st century and finally ban smoking throughout! Highly recommend the Spa and Medical Centre - I had one of the best whole body massages. The staff are highly qualified and knowledgeable. One of us had booked a facial and we were told the day before the appointment that the massage therapist was unwell, would we want to change the appointment for the day after, presumably with the same therapist. We felt this should be managed better - for example, have a replacement therapist available to cover in such cases without the customer being made privy to any such issues.

The hot spring swimming water is comfortable and the sauna facilities are complete. The room rate includes an extremely high-quality dinner, which can quickly replenish energy for guests who have soaked in the hot springs. The hotel has a beautiful view of the snow-capped tops of the Pirin Mountains, which is very beautiful!

Well we went away to relax and recharge. The spa water was great until someone I assume a child went to the toilet and it had to be closed for a clean up. Only a short period. The medical staff are very good. Me and my partner came down with a virus and they sorted us out. So that was great. However I think that the front of desk could do with charm lessons, as on a good day they were only a bit moody. A lot of people walking round in tracksuits as if they are in a Guy Ritchie film. The food is a buffet and get what you can . It was ok although some of the puddings were very good. My biggest complaint really is the staff messed our booking up and tried to throw us out until we proved it was their mistake. We got no apologies though. In fact they seemed to be more upset with us for being right. For the last night it was scowl city from reception and colder than Siberia when speaking to them .So the spa / treatments great . The Guy Ritchie hotel movie set no so great.
