During our stay, we experienced several maintenance and service issues that caused concern. The swimming pool area requires urgent attention, as the floor drains are damaged and have sharp edges. We were here two years ago when we discovered their restaurant and this is definitely the highlight of the hotel! They have the best bulgarian food in Bansko. It was a real pleasure to be a guest in this wonderful hotel. The room was more than amazing, the whole hotel, all the rooms were warm all the time. Perfect budget friendly Hotel in Bansko. Stayed fir a weekend ski trip, its the bottom end of town but run 3 shuttles morning and afternoon to Gondola. A taxi is between 12 and 14 Lev to get into the main bar and restaurant areas (thats £6/7 ) Place was clean and tidy, breakfast was more than amble. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Reception staff very welcoming and friendly so made a lovely first impression.We also had tea at the hotel which was chicken and vegetables . Breakfast was interesting and not to our taste.Towels were hard but rooms were very nice and bed was comfortable. There was also a fridge in the room and the hotel was close to amenities.

The hotel in general is high value for a very affordable price: nice SPA centre, with the best Hamman I know so far, good airco, 24 hours reception, variated and complete breakfast, free parking space nearby. Good location away from the big noise and yet close to the centre (walking distance). Very helpful and friendly staff, they all speak well English.

We spent a lot of time at the casino. It is the biggest in bansko but much smaller than international casinos you might be used to. Great that they have a separate smoking casino but the doors remain open so you can smell smoke in the non smoking side too. Elegant Lux is a lovely hotel! Really pleasant staff and great environment. There are a few things that could do with some repairs but overall, fab hotel with a great shuttlebus to the gondela and it really is close to the gondela anyway.
