The hot spring swimming water is comfortable and the sauna facilities are complete. The room rate includes an extremely high-quality dinner, which can quickly replenish energy for guests who have soaked in the hot springs. Well we went away to relax and recharge. The spa water was great until someone I assume a child went to the toilet and it had to be closed for a clean up. Only a short period. The medical staff are very good. Me and my partner came down with a virus and they sorted us out. So that was great. However I think that the front of desk could do with charm lessons, as on a good day they were only a bit moody...

Spacious rooms, ok food, really nice warm pool. Big plus - they accept dogs. Really close to couple of restaurants and village supermarket. Spent there week and could easily imagine coming back.

We really like this out of the way, hidden gem. It’s not the fancy new spa like the ones popping up all around the area. This is classic Bulgaria! The water is hot, the facilities are clean… what more do you want? The restaurant is quite good! We had yr pork sash and it was REALLY tasty! We use it for the camping area, which is basic, but you get the spa included for the price!

The rooms in the hotel were fine. The apartment was good size and was very warm with floor heating. The food was not good over Christmas. The management was not the best. The staff of the restaurant was not engaged and served cold food. There was distasteful music that even though the management promised it will be rectified and other music would be put on the next days, it did not happen. The pool...

The hotel in general is high value for a very affordable price: nice SPA centre, with the best Hamman I know so far, good airco, 24 hours reception, variated and complete breakfast, free parking space nearby. Good location away from the big noise and yet close to the centre (walking distance). Very helpful and friendly staff, they all speak well English.

Amazing value for money! Great location, right in front of a big park and a few minutes walk from the center. Big comfortable rooms with everything needed. Breakfast and dinner were great. Spa is decent with a small heated pool, big sauna and steam bath. It needs a bit of renovation though. There is a nice child's area. Overall the hotel is a perfect place for a cheap getaway with the children.

This hotel is great value for money. I liked the SPA a lot, they have a very good Hamman. 24 hours reception, it is located away from the big noise but still close to the centre (walking distance). Very friendly and English speaking staff. Free parking space close by. Variated breakfast.

We only stayed there for one night with our children(15 yo and 10 yo). The room was spacious. They each slept in an armchair bed and I can say the king bed was really big. I give 4 stars because at the bathroom the bathroom faucet was a little bit broken and the furniture seems outdated. In the morning the breakfast was okish...except the coffee. It was just like the ones you take from those tired...

A cheap and easy hotel in Bansko. No thrills and breakfast is suspect but you can’t really complain given our room was less than a tenner each per person. You can walk to the ski lift but they provide a free shuttle too.

Sprawling estate with blocks of apartments, with a pool and sauna attached to one block, available to all, and a restaurant and bar attached to reception. Rooms are basic. Not all blocks have lifts and the light switch timers on the stairs only last long enough to go one or two floors, which is dangerous at night. The pool is large and lovely. Nice hotel! Ok rooms for the prices of 50bgn !

Solo traveller. I stay in a one bed apartment and was thankful for the air-conditioning as it was hot outside. Plenty of room for one person and there was a view of the mountain from the windows. I had to buy some microwave cookware as there was no specific items of that kind in the apartment but that was the only thing that let the place down.

Perfect budget friendly Hotel in Bansko. Stayed fir a weekend ski trip, its the bottom end of town but run 3 shuttles morning and afternoon to Gondola. A taxi is between 12 and 14 Lev to get into the main bar and restaurant areas (thats £6/7 ) Place was clean and tidy, breakfast was more than amble. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Reception staff very welcoming and friendly so made a lovely first impression.We also had tea at the hotel which was chicken and vegetables . Breakfast was interesting and not to our taste.Towels were hard but rooms were very nice and bed was comfortable. There was also a fridge in the room and the hotel was close to amenities.

Very, very nice hotel, now its name is Asteri. Only a minute or two away from the very center of Bansko! Cozy! It has a SPA center, shuttle to the Gondola lift. Very delicious breakfast! I recommend! Very helpful staff! One of the very few hotels in Bansko, working during the pandemic lockdown! The owners are very pleasant people! Great choice! And really good prices.

Super nice rooms and very good service.

Nothing special. Quite run down. Food is good and staff is mostly friendly. Breakfast only starts at 8, which is very inconvenient if you want to ski. No possibility whatever l whatsoever to get your breakfast earlier in a box of something. It was OK, but we wouldn't repeat our stay.

Lovely cosy tavern with an open fire. The owner is very friendly and funny. He takes pride and care with his menu of authentic traditional Bulgarian dishes, many of which are created by his family. His own wine is delicious too. I went with a group of 11 of us and we had a lovely evening, the best meal we had on our trip. Would highly recommend!

We found this amazing tavern when walking the authentic streets away from the ski centre. The food and atmosphere are amazing and the host is a true original. You must visit or stay at this place when visiting Bansko for the full experience of Bulgarian hospitality. Try the Bombar, it’s simply delicious. Only wish we’d found it earlier on our trip.

The BEST food I've had in Bansko! So good, that we've decided to come back for our next and final evening. I will leave a detailed food review after my second night of trying more dishes but all you need to know is: the food amazing, the atmosphere so cosy and comfortable, and the wine is excellent. All this is tied together by a gracious and attending host. Truly, unmissable!

We spent two nights here and loved it. It was everything we needed and expected and even more from beautiful clean room to delicious dinner at the tavern. Location is perfect with just a few steps to everything important but nothing noisy for light sleepers. The host is very friendly and kind and we are looking forward to coming back again!!! Highly recommend!

The food was very tasty. The taste of home kitchen. Good homemade vine. Michael is a very good host very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the place so much. Home atmosphere, traditional Bulgarian kitchen with local seasonings and style. We recommend this place.

Hotel Mura

Great lower cost hotel, no pool, about 3/4 of a mile from Gondola and main town. Room had nice facilities but I was surprised there was no flat screen TV just old fashioned crt giant TV. Bathroom was nicely modern. Wonderful bakery next door. There was a mini market next door too but that's closed down now, plenty more about though.

Everything was fantastic, the staff were so friendly and helpful. The rooms had great views and were clean and comfortable. Shower always had hot water, would highly recommend and hope to stay here again

You get what you pay for. Rooms had stained carpets and sofas/stools, however the cleaners did a great job at making up the beds and changing sheets/ towels/ replenishing toiletries daily upon request. No air con, so gets very hot unless you sleep with a balcony door open. Beds are fairly uncomfortable, but what can you expect for such cheap accommodation. The bar is very expensive, would recommend...

Could not fault them. Not the poshest, but everything you could want and more. We had a lovely comfortable stay. Good breakfast, we recommend the hot chocolate - button 6. Great shuttlebus and lovely steam room and hot tub. Lovely staff too! Thank you!

Good hotel/ friendly staff/. Good internet/good breakfast/warm room lots of hot water, actually looks better than the photos, very happy stay with my family Jan 2024. Shuttle bus was prompt, though you could walk to the gondola in 15 mins.

Was worried about coming here as some bad reviews but we arrived and had one of the best 8nights stay here they staff are lovely all the cleaners bar staff and the bus which drops u to gondola every day is amazing .could not fault anything on this hotel at all for the price also new years eve we got invited to happy end bar all thanks to hotel we had 3 course meal and free drinks it was amazing night...

The owner of the hotel is absolutely devoted to his customers and unmatched kindness. Thanks to him, we saved a lot of time and discovered really typical and great addresses (thermal baths, Turkish baths, skiing, restaurants) in Bansko and its surroundings. This establishment truly deserves to be called family friendly. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Good location right in the city center, polite stuff, homemade breakfast, you can also eat there cheap and good for noon or dinner, the only thing is that if you are on the first or second floor is cold in the room.

The hotel is just near the lower end of the central pedestrian street with lots of boutiques, restaurants and mini markets. There is a good 15 minutes walk to the ski gondola but pleasant hotel crew offer a transfer to and from the ski zone. Breakfast is an usual continental table with a big variety of food. Just one kind of tea, but a mountain mix, nice and healthy.. No mayonnaise and ketchup! :)...

Amazing place! Hospitality is top notch.The restaurant offers delicious traditional dishes, the staff is very welcoming and the rooms are extremely clean. The location couldn't be better - city centre is less than a minute away. Highly recommended!
