Pilevski Hotel in Blagoevgrad

The hotel only smells nice at the reception. There was no one at the reception to greet us. We booked three rooms, but all of them smelled awful, cigarette smoke. The bathrooms were dirty, and the bedsheets were not clean. There were no mosquito screens on the windows, making the rooms very uncomfortable.

On the bright side, the rooms had air conditioning, and the location was good.

I reserved two rooms on a visit to the property for my family who were coming for my commencement, a month later I stopped by to check if the reservation still holds and they have cancelled it without informing me. I renewed it and a week before the event called to check on them - they assured me the reservation stands and all is good. You can imagine my surprise when I go there with my family and they tell me - we don't have a reservation on such name and the hotel is fully booked for the last four days. At least, they had the decency of sending us to another hotel, but it was out of town, which is not very convenient.
