The food quality was unacceptable — both the watermelon and melon served were mouldy, and the meat often had an off colour and unpleasant smell. As a result, we often had meals outside the hotel.
Halfway through our all-inclusive holiday, the hotel abruptly stopped serving espresso, ouzo, juices, and any cocktails containing juice. When we asked for an explanation, we were told it was because the season was ending, yet we were still charged full price for an all-inclusive experience, which felt misleading and unfair.
The pool bar, which had been advertised as part of the hotel amenities, was not included in our all-inclusive package. This was never made clear during booking and added to our frustration.
On a positive note, the room and bar staff were excellent — always friendly, helpful, and professional. The location was also fairly convenient, close to shops and within walking distance to a nice sandy beach.
The rooms were clean but very dated. On our first day, the towel rail in the bathroom snapped off and hit our daughter on the shoulder, leaving a bruise. Clearly, some maintenance issues need urgent attention.
Overall, this hotel did not live up to expectations, especially given the cost (over £160/night).

- Most of the staff are new and not so customer oriented also not kind. Low quality of breakfast.

The hotel is situated in a very convenient area. It's 5 minutes away from the beach and 4 minutes away from the centre. The staff was exceptional. Young people with a brighter smile than the sun and very polite. They were very cool and patient with our child as he was constantly moaning, walking around and touching the windows and everything where you can leave your fingerprints on. Furthermore they were even entertaining him. The service is on a very high level, the rooms were cleaned daily and even the maid that was looking after the rooms on our floor made some figures with the towels (dog or swan etc.) She is a diamond in the team and should receive more appreciation. The food was very tasty and different for each day. There was soups for lunch and number of different salads for lunch and dining.
In overall the score is 5 stars as I am glad that I booked their services.

Great place to create happy family memories. Nice location. Lovely view from the restaurant's terrace. Clean swimming pools. Playgrounds. Free parking for the guests of the hotel. The loby bar is managed by professionals. Good value for the price.

Well, to be honest, we were here 15 years ago with our children (which is definitely a good idea) and this time we are travelling with friends and are once again very satisfied. The breakfast is simple, Bulgarian and fresh. Tomatoes, cucumbers, olives and feta cheese or Bulgarian yoghurt with oatmeal and fresh fruit, but also bread, cake or pasta are on offer every day. The fact that you can now have breakfast outside in the shade is definitely an advantage! The rooms are clean, easy to darken against the heat and tidy, the balconies are spacious. The air conditioning runs continuously, but it is also necessary when it is over 30 degrees Celsius. The beach is easy to reach on foot. We only booked with breakfast because we prefer to try out all the restaurants and eat in the evening. So we are enjoying our time ☀️

Very good family hotel, great location in front of the sea and close to the old town, kind personnel, swimming pool and good facilities. The food offer for the all-in formula has substantially improved!

Staff was really helpful and pleasant. Food was great and variety was good. Room was nice and clean. Had a kids play area, and an outside dining area overlooking the beautiful sea. Would recommend.

Ambience is nice, food as well. Proper restaurant. One of the few restaurants where you can still catch a table in top occupancy time in Ahtopol.
However, service is slow (not bad, just slow - only two people clocking many km).
One really unfortunate point during our visit - the beer glass was fridge chilled, unfortunately the fridge had moth, the glass was stinking horribly. Service exchanged it with no questions.
Hard to recommend.

Terrible hotel with terrible all inclusive service. In spite of the huge price, the quisine was worse than mediocre. The fish "every day" consisted of mackerel and sprat - the worst in Bulgaria, and not every day. The rest of the food was also not good, no variety, and some of the meats were not fresh. The room was also hideous, the doors to the bathroom and balcony were not closing well, so we had to apply power in order to close them. The douche was so highly mounted so the water was hitting the opposite side of the bathroom, so we had to hold it while bathing. The TV had about 12 channels, four of which - Russian. The WiFi was 90% unavailable. Typical Bulgarian "business". Only the serving personnel was nice and polite - young boys from Ukraine, obviously put upon by the owner for some miserable money. Typical for Bulgaria - I tried Bulgarian seaside for the first time in more than 10 years and would not do it again. Greek and Turkish service is much better, they treat their customers as family. Bulgaria is still in the 90ies, unfortunately.
