Hotels on first line in Nessebar

We made use of the indoor pool which was lovely, We were booked in till 1st October but hotel closed on 30th September So staff were surprised we were still there however we were looked after there was 12people left till late , We were there as the staff party was starting it was lovely to see them all coming in dressed up and I think it is a lovely thing for the company to do for them to be honest...

The themed dinner nights were a delightful surprise, each offering a unique culinary adventure. The staff deserves special mention

I was really looking forward to my visit little did I know that it shut down end of September, We arrived late and was greeted by a security guard who was nice, on reception was victor a lovely young man very helpful, as it was late we received a brown paper bag either some food in, bread bun, butter, apple, cake, croissant and bottle of water it was basic but enough, The room was on par with travel...

The room was spacious and clean. The pool was fantastic, and the animators organized fun contests, morning workouts, and water slides. And there was so much more! A paradise for both children and adults.

The sandy beach is lovely, there are many pools and the aquapark is open for a long time (3 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the afternoon, which is longer then in other similar hotels)

Nice beach, fresh but cold outdoor pools. Wouldn't necessarily recommend for families with older teenagers, but families with small kids, absolutely. As long as you like to smoke or inhale other people's smoke

The territory is large, clean, good animation, the water park also pleased. The beach is not great, but the sea is clean, there was always enough space. There are several children's clubs on site

We have been to the hotel (section Mare; double room with two extra beds and sea view) for the second summer season in a row and we plan to go here again next year

My stay at Sol Nessebar Mare was great ,the amenities are well maintained, the staff that works here are very nice and welcoming, the animation team was wonderful, the staff in the restaurant was always nice especially Stefani she was wonderful! The pool areas, the slides, and common areas were well maintained (some may need a bit more attention in my opinion)

Accommodation and meals (all-inclusive in several restaurants and stands including ice cream, be sure to try them all) are appropriate for the price and are completely sufficient for a normal family vacation

The beach is just right near the hotel, during our stay it was clean, as was the sea (a little seaweed here and there), and the entrance to the sea is suitable for children (a lifeguard is present)

The only minor negative is that, unlike last season, the midnight snack served last year in the form of great sandwiches between 10:00 PM and 11:00 PM in the lobby bar was canceled this year - we couldn't find an adequate replacement and we don't know why these sandwiches were canceled (?) - but otherwise there was still more than enough very good food and drinks at the hotel

But I honestly can’t think of anyone worth complaining about. The pools are spot on, plenty of sunbeds, and the beer is cold! What more do you need

Evening entertainment is excellent and lots of variety within the shows. So many slides, and pools! No queues and plenty of lifeguards about

The place is clean, you’re spoilt for choice when it comes to bars, restaurants, drinks, food, snacks the lot. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, always take the time to say hello

If I had to find a complaint, and this would be for the sake of finding a fault, the toasters are too slow! And that’s just being picky! Great week away, will definitely be returning

Foods great, entertainment is questionable with the animation team enjoying stripping on stage to their underwear in front of children, one member having nothing but a hat to cover his privates

Now to address the title… Me and my friend, both 15 female have came to this hotel with my family and we really enjoyed the water slides, HOWEVER

This is our second time at this property and to tell you the truth, after the renovations everything is much better! The rooms are fresh and the sea view is fantastic as always

Lovely Hotel, very surprised that everything was still available. ie pool bar, day and evening entertainment for such a late holiday

The hotel could explain things a little better ie pool towels have a £10 euro deposit paid at reception where you are given a card to take to the attendant and get your towel

Entainment is lacking but we are at the start of season so may be some later

Towards the end of the holiday choice was a bit scarce, but what was offered was always cooked to perfection and sweets were yummy. Old town Nessebar was a short walk away and was definitely worth the visit

Their motivation, energy, fun, and passion for their work amazed us. From morning exercises to evening entertainment. We weren't bored on vacation; we had a lot of fun, for which we are extremely grateful

The pool on the roof is small, but they do have a number of sunbeds

We were recommended Nessebar by a travel agent and it's not disappointed as a resort; think Dubrovnik without the hassle when you're in the old town across the causeway which is an easy walk from the Sol Marina Palace hotel

Been to Bulgaria several times before but mostly in the mountain area, Sofia and Plovdiv. Nice hotel, yes, the pool is small but perfectly adequate for a nice jump in and cool off

That one quibble aside, I'd recommend this adults only hotel and it's older demographic over a stay anywhere in Sunny Beach!

I'd recommend trying to get on the odd numbered side of the building which also overlooks the old town; if you can get to the back of any given floor (101 or 102 in that floor plan would be ideal but same applies on floors 2, 3 and 4) then you'd have a quieter time all things considered

We were in room 120 (see floor map attached) which while comfortable with a nice bathroom and effective AC was immediately above the lobby bar and it's outdoor area on on end and overlooked the lobby atrium at the other end so it wasn't the quietest room at times

I cannot fault the Bilyana beach. From the moment we arrived i felt valued. The room was fab with a Seaview, everywhere was very clean. The staff were all amazing and couldn't help enough

We’ve just had a 9 day honeymoon and it was amazing, the hotel is clean everywhere the food was amazing everyday, lots of variety, rooms are beautiful and the beds are comfortable, the drinks are brilliant but they need a local beer on tap as Bulgarian beer is amazing

I stayed with my husband for 2 weeks and we cannot fault it at all. The food was varied but there was always something to take your fancy. The entertainment was fabulous, talented and funny

Weve had a great time here, staff very helpful. Food is delicious, plenty of choice. room & view couldnt be nicer, plenty off space for 3 people. every part of the hotel spotless

There was always something to do so you didn't get bored. We loved our stay here and we loved Bulgaria

Amazing place! Nesebar is a very cool place! The hotel was perfect! Very nice staff, super clean, really big balcony with an awesome view, comfy and clean room! The food was also fantastic, pool is pretty, and best location in my opinion! Can’t say anything bad about this place!

As a female solo traveller I loved this hotel! The location is slap bang on the beach so you are literal steps from the Black Sea

If you're coming from Burgas get a bus to Nesebar new town and the hotel is a 15mins walk from the bus stop. There are plenty of sun loungers for everyone and a small pool

Room was spacious, clean and comfortable, including very useful beach bag ! Beach umbrellas and sun beds were included

Black Sea was magnificent ! We stayed there for a 3 days, hopefully next time it will be much longer !!! Thank you guys !!!

And later in the evening , he drove us on hotel electric car and explained directions to local famous sights. Friendly restaurant personal always attended our questions , food was great and affordable

The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the food is varied and tasty. The private beach, pool, and all-inclusive service make the stay especially relaxing

The hotel has an excellent location right by the sea, with easy access to the beach and a pleasant walk to the old town

The lobby bar would certainly benefit with more seating away from the sports tv which was on every evening. Lastly pool area was very dangerous. Saw several people slip/fall over down steps

We booked this 8 day break late in the season and to be honest our expectations were not that high. Well done MPM Arsena, warm reception on arrival and very helpful

Staff clearing tables were excellent and always polite and friendly. Food, a lot of choice and well cooked, but cold. The cleaner around the pool always seemed to be having rows with the lifeguard

On arrival hotel looked clean and reception staff friendly. More information would have been nice on arrival, especially needing tickets for towels, which we found out from a very rude life guide

The owners were very attentive and even fixed the internet in my room when the connection wasn’t reaching. The receptionist is extremely friendly, kind, and genuinely caring

The location is fantastic, right in the old city. Such an amazing place to explore as usual with all the stores, restaurants and the beach!!! As a thoughtful touch, I even received a postcard of a painting

She checked in with me every day to make sure everything was going well, always ready to help with anything. It was also very nice to have a pleasant conversation with her. Warm, engaging, and close to the heart

For those with cars, you'd have to park in the paid municipality parking at 12 lv. The hotel is in the old town, so walking distance from everything. The hostess was very polite and helpful with my questions

The rooms and the entire hotel are exceptionally clean. The beds are very comfy, and you get a small kitchenette in the room which comes handy when you buy some fruits from the market

The view of the beach from the pool terrace is gorgeous & there is direct access to the beach from the hotel. The pool itself is small & frequently visited by seagulls who drink & bathe in it

We love location of this hotel. The rooms with sea view have the sandy beach below and you can hear the waves all through the night. Breakfast spread was excellent with plenty of choice

The hotel is a little 'tired' but the location is very pleasant. The day we arrived large heaps of seaweed were washed onto the beach. Last year when this occured, the seaweed was removed

The staff seamed a bit under confident and No one was in charge. They were all using their mobile phones and not very efficient. But saying that they were respectful and did try to help when asked

I complained to management, but nothing was done, there was no oversite of the pool, and no attempt was made to control this selfish behaviour. The beds are comfortable but the bedding is too small and does not fit

The staff are friendly, the room was serviced every day. Breakfast was fine and the coffee was most acceptable. The pool is rather small and regularly dominated by guys playing 'handball'

The sea is nearby, the river is good, the swim is great. On the way to the sea there is a cafe Water Spirit, the food suited us and everything was at reasonable prices, soup and the second came out within 8-10 leva

Good location and helpful staff

I liked the hotel, clean, tidy, comfortable. They cleaned every day, changed the towels every other day, the bed after five. The attitude of the owners to the guests of the hotel left pleasant memories

You must definitely visit Old Nessebar, by bus, there is antiquity and beauty going through the roof. The rest with us was a success, the weather is in early September 2019 was great

Yes they have a lot of rules but dont seem to enforce them, no one worrying you around the pool and often open until 7pm. The girls behind the bar are friendly and happy to serve you with whatever you want

The pools are fabulous and you're just 5 mins from the beach and 30 mins from the Old Town, which is just beautiful in architecture and shops! Yes the food isnt perfect, dinner is fabulous, cant fault that and there is something for every meal

The accommodation is always exactly as requested – studio, high floor, sea view… basically romance + toddler vandalism. The food? Way above expectations for a 3-star hotel – both in taste and variety

Pools are great too, and the pool bar is pure salvation – cocktail in hand, feet in the water, and you almost forget tomorrow’s round of “who can run faster down the hallway

” The South Beach is just 5 minutes away on foot, bus stop and supermarket literally next door. Even the laziest tourist couldn’t complain

Very luxury hotel, casino, convenient location 200 yards of the beach. Stunning rooftop terrace with amazing views to Sunny Beach.

The outside swimming pool with many sunbeds around it is a great addition if you don't want to go to a beach (there is a beach with free entrance 3 min downhill from the hotel)

An affordable and attractive option with proximity to a public beach (there are some stairs and an inclined walk, so keep in mind). The facility has a great pool on premises. Rooms are air-conditioned and spotless.

The breakfast was average, similar choice of items each day. Location was excellent 500 meters from beach, 5min walk to old Nesebar. Staff friendly, pool area lovely.

The hotel has traditionally great accommodation, recreational facilities and food. It keeps the calm atmosphere away from the newly built crowded hotels, but near the beach and the shopping streets

Some issues with the seagulls in the morning, can't sleep because if the noise they make

Everything was old-fashioned, but clean and well maintain. We were on full board and all the meals were buffet meals – both the kids and the grownups were happy with the food choices

The hotel is decent, it is clean, but despite the late season, the workers made noise with the machines and plaster was falling from the ceiling of the artament

The hotel is on the first line. Great breakfast. The old town is a short walk along the promenade.

Everything was wonderful, only if you diversify the breakfast, everything will be on a level.

The location of Hotel Perun is very nice and the money was worth it because of the view

Seems to be nice place, but rhe qualify the furniture and the bathrooms in the room is very low. Additionally, it is advertised that a buffet is included but it is so basic that it is better without this option.

The room we booked for our stay was very comfortable and had a great view. There is also parking for the guests of the hotel. The staff at the reception desk were very polite and helpful. Overall a very good experience

Actually it was raining and the taxi driver bring us there. Still it was pretty cool for random found restaurant. I am pretty sure we will go back there on next time we visit the city

Very nice place with really good food and wine selection! Staff ware friendly and take care for us during our dinner. *Note: We choose not so popular time and it was kinda empty

The hotel is in the best place. It is right at the edge of the new city with a beautiful view of the old city. Both the old city and the new one are within walking distance

Oh, and the hotel´s location right by the entrance way to Old Nessebar is just awesome. I can definitely recommend this place to my best friends

The hotel is literally 10m away of the beach. The restoraunt and the front rooms have really nice, panoramic view. They also have air conditioners, free WiFi and two small swimming pools (one for kids)

I didn’t stay at the hotel, but had lunch and dinner there - delicious food, great service and location. Nice and friendly staff! It is a must to visit if you are in the area. Not crowded!

Furthermore, the hotel offers free parking (although, the entrance of the parking is tight and in case you have a monstrous pickup, probably you won't get inside)

In general, the place is very nice and suitable for family holidays

The room was clean and the staff repeatedly offered us to change the sheets and asked if we needed anything. we were not special guests, but the attitude was friendly. Yes, breakfast started early

The beach is in 3 min walk from the hotel. Generally situated in a quiet area of Neasebar. Currently it is only 2 star category, but in my opinion could be at least 3 or with a bit of work even 4

Bulgarian cuisine! - now if you expect shrimp, seafood and similar things for a two-star hotel, then it's your fault! The garden and the pool were maintained

Great place to have your holiday on Black Sea with historical town of Nessebar in walking distance. It is an relatively olf building, built in the 1970's but welk maintained and very much up to date

From the very first beginning we got a very nice contact with the owner Miroslav! He took some pictures of two rooms which were possible to rent! The room we had (201) was spacious and has a small fridge

Our second visit for fillet steak. Cooked beautifully and as requested. Nice ambience, pleasant background music. Highly recommend a visit here. Plenty of cover if a change in weather

It is withing walking distance to shops and restaurants. I booked online and opted to pay upon arrival. The room was spotless, clean bedding and bathroom. The water pressure in shower was great

Comfortable rooms with a pretty garden to drink coffee mornings. The climatisation keeps the temperature cold in the rooms during summer heats. Very warm welcome, the owner was really nice

Excellent location, quiet, clean, discreet, cute patio, small grocery store just around the corner (fresh local fruits!!!). Also really nice hosts.
